In season 2, episode 3, titled "The pollywog", Dustin finds this creature in his trash. He names it Dart. Anyway, you remember how in episode 4 Dart eats Mews, Dustin's cat? Well, dart ends up taking a dog or animal like form by the end of the season. Back to season 3, episode 8, at the very end there is a scene or a teaser for season 4. Recap on this scene, the Russians take someone from a cell and drag him down several flights of stairs, then put him in a cage. Another door opens in this cage and a demogorgon comes out. Think of how this demogorgon looked. It was a lot more boney or scrawny and had a more human like figure. We can assume that these Russians feed this demogorgon many people, hence the human like figure. Remember dart? How it took a more animal like figure? Maybe the demogorgon evolves on what it eats. I think that they will grow on this when the new season comes out.
