"I'm jealous of the rain that falls upon your skin, it's closer than my hands have been, oh I'm jealous of the rain."
: Adeline
Her eyes fluttered open, at first it was dark, her head was pounding, her body aching, her throat hurt. She wanted nothing more than get rid of the disgusting feeling she questionably got. Once Adeline's vision returned, fear embedded into her. This was the not the ice cream shop, nor her room, or her home. This place was dark, taking in her surroundings she saw it was a room, a big room, the floor was a dark wood, the walls a dark grey color, the king sized bed she sat on had black silk sheets and pillows.
The room had a few windows, but no light came in, it was night time. She didn't remember falling asleep, nor did she remember ever being in a place like this. A whimper fell out her pink lips, she was confused, scared, and anxious.
Re jogging her memory, she only remembered talking to Jenny, going to the ice cream parlor, the hickey, the hug, and the text.
Her eyes went wide, wetness started to surround the crystal like eyes. The man, she was kidnapped, her head started to hurt more, she could feel a heartbeat with the headache, tears streaming down her now flushed cheeks, her throat started hurting worse when she felt as if she couldn't breathe. Hyperventilating, she clutched the sheets into her small hands as if that was going to help, there was only one thing going through her head, she was having a panic attack.
Through all the sounds she made and how much her mind would just not work, Adeline didn't notice the same man who took her walked right into the room. He sat right next to her, figuring out someway to calm her down. He placed his hand on her cheek, making her flinch away, her eyes widened at the sight in front of her, it was him. The man that had been in her mind, he was in front of her, concern was showed on his face.
She whimpered, and shuffled away. He followed her. A loud thump was heard once Adeline fell off the bed and onto the floor.
"Love, are you oka-" Adeline cried out, making him stop talking. Tears were falling out her eyes, worse this time.
"p-please, what do you want from me?" Adeline asked, she didn't understand why she was here, with him. Did she make him mad? She only remembered seeing him once, feeling two warm strong arms wrap around her frame. He lifted her up and placed her on the bed, his eyes filled with adoration, concern, guilty ness, and sadness. He fixed his posture so he was no longer hovering over her, but standing up to his full frame.
"I'll come back once you've settled down." Was the only thing he said, as he walked out the room, shutting the door behind him. Once Adeline heard the door close she let out a loud cry.
what was she supposed to do now?.
___
After calming down, Adeline wiped away the tears. She needed to wash her face or else it would be red and puffy, walking to a black door she opens it and sees the bathroom. Turning the light on, Adeline walked to the marble sink, her sight was set on the mirror that showcased her. Her hair was missy, her eyes red along with her nose and cheeks, dried tears were seen on her cheeks, and her jacket was falling off her shoulder.
Turning the water on, Adeline splashed cold water onto her warm skin. Lifting her head up and turning off the faucet, she grabbed the near by small white towel and dried the droplets of water.
Running her fingers through her hair and fixing her jacket, she heard the noise of the door opening.
was he back already? no no no.
