:Adeline
1 month later.
Adeline rose with a yawn, stretching her arms upward she let out a sigh. "Love, come help me with the garden." Said Ms. Myers, who graciously took in Adeline after she found her starved, dirty, and tired in the woods. "of course ma'am" said Adeline as she got up from the comfortable bed and changed into a light purple, lavender, dress and ballerina flats with strings wrapping around her ankles. She looked like an angel from heaven as she worked her hair up into a messy bun, a few baby curls shaped her face.
It had been a few weeks since Adeline had appeared in augustus starry, a place where everything was quiet, everyone knew everyone, and the weather was always warm and bright. At first she had thought she was walking in circles in the woods but when she heard voices she thanked the gods and went seeking for help. Where she met Ms. Myers, who helped her and let her stay after Adeline found out she was in a different country, that night she cried, cried for being away from her parents, cried from what that man did to her and, but also cried that she wasn't strong enough to fight it, him.

The first thing that hit her was the warmth of outside and then the sun, smiling brightly even through the trouble times. Adeline walked to the short, brown haired woman who was crouched down near the garden.
Helping her pull out the weeds between the vegetables, she sat and wondered what would she be doing if she was never taken? She hated how vulnerable she was, maybe if her parents hadn't sheltered her or if she was just more stronger she would've escaped.
"Okay dear, do you mind running to the super market and giving mr. Johnson these vegetables and fruits?" Said Ms. Myers handing Adeline the white clothed bundle of produce. Nodding her head she noticed the small blush on the women's face, giving her a sly smile she placed the bundle in the basket in front of her bike. Usually the bike ride to the market was about 8 minutes but walking would take 20, so the two women always just decided on peaceful bike ride.
Stopping next to Mr. Johnson's small shop, she placed the bike next to the wall and grabbed the bundle of food. Opening the door she heard the little bell jingle. "Ahh well if it isn't my favorite girl in the whole village" said the aged man behind the counter. "Wouldn't say that to loud or Claire might hear you" said Adeline talking about Ms. Myers, a throaty chuckle could be heard from the man.
"So what's bring you here?"
"Ms. Myers brings her produce" she placed the bundle on the counter in front of the man who gives her a warm smile.
"Well you tell that little lady that I said thank you" he said
"Has anyone?" Asked Adeline giving him that hopeful look. The old man shook his head and gave her sad eyes.
The day after Adeline had arrived to the small town, she had tried to get help and contact her parents where she was located. Unfortunately, no one was there to answer, which she questioned since her parents always answered their form of communication. They then tried to communicate with the authorities, but when they returned they had said there were no "records" of her parents living in Europe. When Adeline tried to tell the police about the man and the kidnapping, it looked like their bodies went stiff and their face drained, the men and women brushed her off and continued to tell her to stay in augustus starry until they heard back from her parents.
