T: I've decided that I will not give you anymore hints

INCOMING CALL

Taehyung practically screeched once he seen the call on the phone of course belonging to Jeongguk.

The boy sat his phone down on the counter in his kitchen, letting the call go through without an answer.

He was way too embarrassed to answer the call. Who knows what Jeongguk had to say. Taehyung was sure he most likely had a lot. Not only that but his voice. What if it was too familiar?

There was silence once his phone stopped ringing. On his screen appeared 1 miss call. Not even five seconds later, his phone began ringing once more causing the boy to jump.

He scrunched up his nose before swiping the call symbol at the bottom to answer it. As soon as he held his phone up to his ear-

"NO YOU CANNOT CRUSH ON ME IN PEACE!" Jeongguk shouted from the other line.

Taehyung quickly removed the phone from his ear due to how loud Jeongguk was being. He could of sworn Jeongguk busted his god dang eardrum.

"OH MY GOD! CALM DOWN GGUK-"

"I SHALL NOT CALM DOWN, YOU PIECE OF SHIT."

Taehyung paused to the words. His lower lip poked out into a pout, and he dared not to speak any further, for Jeongguk hurt his feelings.

There was silence between the two for about thirty seconds before Jeongguk cleared up the awkwardness to speak again.

"Hello?"

Taehyung kept quiet.

"....I'm sorry for calling you a piece of shit."

An amused smile lit up on Taehyung's face after hearing the apology from Jeongguk who sighed right after completely defeated in this awkward situation.

"It's okay, Ggukie." Taehyung had moved himself to the living room, and made himself comfortable on the leather couch of his.

He heard Jeongguk sigh on the other line. (Jeongguk was indeed completely aggravated within this whole entire situation.)

"Sooooo...no more hints?" He asked.

Taehyung felt bad if he were to take away the whole hint thing. He put himself into Jeongguk's perspective. Of course it was natural to feel curious to find out who it is that likes you, and of course Jeongguk was going to feel upset.

He decided to second think it. For Jeongguk's sake. He really wanted to find out who Taehyung was, so the least Taehyung could do was continue the hints even if it meant he was going to be embarrassed about it all.

"On second thought-"

"-YOU'LL STILL GIVE ME HINTS???"

"Yes..and I suppose I'll give you better hints." The boy slammed his face against the cushion of his couch. That definitely triggered a head ache.

"HOLY SHIT. IF I COULD JUST HUG YOU...NO NO NO KISS YOU I WOULD- I LOVE Y-"

"-GGUK!"

"YES??"

"SHUT UP! DON'T SAY THINGS YOU DON'T MEAN!"

Silence was again drawn upon the two for a few seconds before words were heard on Jeongguk's line.

"WHO SAID I DON'T MEAN IT?"

"OH MY GOD IM HANGING UP!"

With that Taehyung pressed the end button. His face flushed a bright shade of pink. He was completely whipped for Jeongguk. It was a solid fact he was. Anyone- even someone who didn't know him could see it at this point.

Jeongguk's words always seem to make him flustered, not in a bad way at all. His body screaMED for more attention from his crush. He wanted all the attention he could get, BUT HE KNEW HE COULDN'T GET IT, for he was too much of a coward to come face to face for that attention no matter how much he desired it.

Shame.

Every time Jeongguk said something to stir up his heart, he would dENY it so quick, and shut the boy out, and he hated that he did that to Jeongguk, but he had a logical reason.

Jeongguk didn't know who Taehyung even was. Jeongguk didn't know what he was saying. The more he says those things, the more Taehyung's fragile heart falls for him, but he didn't want to fall completely hard to the point that his soul would be crushed if Jeongguk didn't actually like him back.

It was actually too late for that, however.

A little bit after they had gotten off the phone, Taehyung had received a message from Jeongguk.

J: Go to sleep it's way past your bed time.

T: It's 8:39
T: I'm not a baby gguk.

J: I meaaan...you could be my baby thooo.

T: STOP ITTTT

J: Knew you'd say that.
J: Anyway I'm going to sleep early sooooo-
J: Goodnight, sleep tight, feel free to bite if you like.

T: I swear-

J: Kidding.
J: Really though, goodnight!
