Taehyung couldn't stop repeating those words over and over in his head. The majestic sound of the person he's been wanting to date since like— forever, asking him to be official.
"Taehyung will you be mine....Taehyung will you be mine....Taehyung will you be mine?"
Taehyung sighed in delight. Hands clasped together while his head rested on them. A smile was spread across his lips at absolutely nothing but the particular thought of Jeongguk and those beautiful words.
He sank further in his seat, eyes closed as his brain began to snap screenshots of the imagery from last night. "Yes, my sweet honey sent from the gods, I will be yours forever, and as long as you'd like me to be."
Taehyung's smile wouldn't leave his lips, it was like it was stuck there. Another sigh left his lips as his eyes finally opened.
The entire class was staring at the boy. Some of which had their mouths flung open, almost ready to laugh at what the hell they just witnessed. Mr. Kim was completely frozen by the white board, finger reached out pointing towards a fraction. Everyone in the classroom was fixated on Taehyung.
They all looked as if Taehyung needed help.
He did.
As soon as one student began bursting out with laughter, so did the entire class. It was zoo of loudness.
Taehyung could feel his eye twitching as pressed his lips together, finally coming to realization that he was thinking out loud.
Too loud.
"Alright, hahahaha, so funny guys." Taehyung slammed his hands down on the desk while standing up. "If your crush asked you to be theirs, you'd be feeling like a million bucks as well."
"It's not really that deep—"
"Nobody is talking to you." Taehyung pointed a finger towards the girl in the corner who spoke, rolling his eyes.
Mr. Kim's head shook, for he was super confused as to what had just happened. He almost joined in on the laughter as well. Eventually he gestured everyone to start packing up anyway because the bell was going to ring either way.
Jimin had snorted on his way over to Taehyung. He tried his best not to completely spill his laughter out in front of Taehyung. "He finally asked you out, huh?"
Taehyung glanced up as he shoved his red notebook inside his backpack, finally noticing the shorter male. It felt good for the both of them to finally be on good terms.
"He did, yes." Taehyung muttered as he finally zipped up his bag. Eventually he clapped his hands together. "You know what I said?"
Taehyung didn't even let Jimin answer before he began. "I SAID HECK YEAH I WILL."
Amused, Jimin lifted a quick thumbs up. "Happy for you! Jungkook better be good to you—"
"Oh he will." Taehyung said as he lifted his backpack on his back. "And speaking of— he was suppose to be in class today. Where is he?"
"Detention." Jimin snorted. "For copying someone's paper last period."
Taehyung should've expected that. Jungkook may be kinda smart with a little lack of math, but he just looks like he copies homework for a living.
Finally the bell rang, and Taehyung rushed out of class. He was about ready to go home and get on with the rest of his day doing particularly nothing.
He wanted Hoseok to come over, but he had plans to hang out with Yoongi. The boy was literally head over heels for the book club president, so what kind of friend would Taehyung be if he made Hoseok hang out with him.
