"And I'm coming with you."

Everyone turned to see a father-like duck with a determination filled his face.

"Uncle Donald?" The triplets questioned in unison.

Donald's eyes landed on Scrooge as he spoke with such a seriousness that everyone thought he had been swapped with Scrooge.

"She May be your niece but she's my twin sister." He spoke sternly as his eyebrows were dropped and his pupils were small.

"Donald I can't ask ye to~" Scrooge started but was cut off by Donald's stern voice again, "You didn't ask." Donald stared his uncle dead in the eyes as Scrooge's eyes widened.

"Uhh is this really our Uncle Donald?" Louie whispered to his brothers, giving a small indication towards his Uncle Donald.

"I don't know..." Dewey spoke as the triplets returned their gaze to their Uncle Donald.

"You weren't the only one grieving over Dellas disappearance." Donald spoke with a crack in his voice as the triplets and Webby shared concerned looks.

"The last thing I did was yell at her..." Donald spoke as tears welled in his eyes and his head fell down.

"My whole life I've been shutting her out, thinking that she's just a distraction, thinking she never cared for me......" Donald paused, letting a single tear slip as Scrooge felt his heart sink, was this how Donald felt all along?

"My whole life I closed that window that allowed her in. I left her out in the dark......in the cold. Whenever we went on adventures we'd always fight. After we fought we went our seperate ways to cool off. I took you boys to the park, even though you couldn't play it was kinda fun imagining you when you finally hatched playing in the playground." Donald gave a little chuckle, wiping a tear from his eye.

"I sat on the bench and thought over everything. How I treated her. How I had been treating her and when I finally came to the conclusion that I would apologise I heard it......that sound......of a rocket ship." He looked at Scrooge with tears in his eyes as he continued, ignoring the cracks within his voice. "I drove back to mansion as fast as I could to find.........she was gone......" Donald, once again, looked to the ground, letting a few tears slowly graze his cheeks as they fell to the ground.

"Donald......" Scrooge hesitated as he took a step forward, stretching his arm towards his nephew. "I-I didn't know ye felt like this......" He stuttered, placing a gentle hand Donald's shoulder.

Scrooge took a breathe to continue speaking but before he could even say a word Donald rushed into his arms, hugging him tightly as he let out every tear that slipped away after Della's disappearance......and there was a lot of them.

Scrooge stood wide-eyed as his nephews tears soaked his clothes. Donald hadn't hugged Scrooge for what seemed like centuries. It was an unfamiliar gesture, yet.........he missed it.

Scrooge hugged back, letting a tear of his own slip from his eye. "It's alright lad, we'll get her back..." He spoke softly as he continued to hug the crying sailor.

The kids watched on in shock. They had never seen Donald so down before. They had never even seen Donald cry before. They all shared concerning yet painful looks before returning their gaze to their uncles.

Donald continued hugging his uncle tightly as he finally let out the tears he had been wanting to let out, however, he had to stay strong for the boys sake, he couldn't let them see him cry. He would often cry at night when the boys were asleep. He'd fall asleep hugging a picture of him and his sister, one of the only happy pictures they had actually taken together. It had broken his heart when Scrooge told him what had happened. When the old man tried to assure his nephew he would get her back, he had the smallest of hopes. It was a cosmic storm! No one could survive that! Obviously.........he was wrong.

Once the sailor had finally calmed, he wiped his tears, separating from his uncle. Donald took a shaky breathe as his eyes fell to the blue prints. "She's my sister. I'm going with you to save her." Donald babbled as he adjusted his sailor hat.

Before Donald could pick up the blue print, a child-like scream was suddenly heard from a light brown feathered duck. "Mrs McDuck! Me McDuck!"

The ducks jumped out of their feathers as their worried and confused eyes fell on Fenton. "Ack! What is it now Fenton?" Scrooge complained, throwing a hand to his hip.

"Look!" Fenton's shaky eyes never left Scrooge's frustrated ones as he grabbed the laptop and focused it in front of everyone's faces. "It's Della! A live stream of Della!" He exclaimed.

Everyone's eyes widened......hearing that name. They all rushed as fast as they could towards the intern with the laptop.

Everyone gasped upon what they saw, even Gyro was shocked.

A young adult duck sat before them, mouth and hands tied up as tears flowed from her eyes. She tried yelling and fighting against the ropes restraining her but.........nothing worked......

A green figure walked slowly up behind her with a devilish smile plastered across his face. The strange being removed the rope from the ducks mouth as immediately heavy breathing escaped her mouth.

The camera began to crash and the screen grew static as everyone's heart clenched tightly in their chest, especially Donald's.

Silence filled the earth and moon as time seemed to slow down. Donald's heart shattered into a million pieces. All those years wishing she's come home.........wishing to see her one more time.........but he never expected it to be.........like this.

The young adult duck struggled to get up from her knees as tears streamed her face rapidly.

Finally, she stood to her feet, gritting her beak and squinting her eyes, using all her strength to stay up, however, all that effort wasted when she was pushed harshly back to the ground by the strange alien from behind her.

Her eyes focused on the camera as it broke more and more.

The young adult duck finally opened her beak to speak but the kids nor the adults could say it was pleasing.........

"K-Kids!"
