Before I begin I just wanna say I'm so so grateful for each and every one of you! You're all probably skipping this part but either way I'm still gonna say it. When I first started this series it did nooooot go well, but I still enjoyed making it so I continued and man am I glad I did! Along the way I not only improved as a writer but made some amazing new friends! I started this series in 2017 and let me just say that everyday that I was on here I did not regret, everyday I spent making new friends and continuing this chapter I did not regret and it makes me so sad to see the series finally coming to an end after three long years.

And did I say thank you for 100 followers? Well if not, thank you all so so so much!!! It brings a smile to my face every time I see a notification saying someone new has followed!

Each story in this series has so far reached over 1K and I am so proud to say thank you! 💕 It may be small, though everyday it grows bigger and bigger and none of this could have been possible without your on going support and love! Thank you so much!

Even as we reach the end, I ask of you one thing and one thing only; try. Try and never give up. Try and stay positive. And remember you are all beautiful on the inside and out! I couldn't have reached this point if it weren't for any of you! So thank you all again!

Of course, however, this isn't the end of Googlyeye7! I've got a Debbigail fanfic coming up! 😉 But nonetheless it brings tears to my eyes knowing this is all coming to an end. We made it everyone! We made it!

"LASS!" Scrooge's whole body froze in its place. He could feel his heart sink as Webby's knees hit the floor, her shocked face mirroring his.

No ... no no no no no!

In that moment, all remaining hope flew away like a jet.

He... failed.

Scrooge stood frozen in time as he could feel the hot tears bubble in his eyes, threatening to tumble over.

His whole body began to shake as he painfully watched the young girl stare at him, sharing the same expression in his eyes as hers.

Webby lay still on her knees, staring back at the Duck she looked up to her entire life. The Duck who so willingly let her in. The Duck who so willingly gave her his trust, only for it to be broken yet again. And that wasn't even the scariest part, the scariest part was knowing she would never get to say goodbye... never get to say... she's sorry.

No... it couldn't be the end... was she really... shot?

Blood soaked the side of her clothes as her scratches and bruises was a sight in which shattered Scrooge's heart. His own niece, the girl who had remained strong through all the chaos, the girl who was the light to guide everyone through the darkness, was shot right before his very eyes.
