I sighed in annoyance as I viewed my dorm co-occupants sprawled on the couches in the main lobby chatting away. I was definitely the odd ball out here, the list of dorm occupants went:

Tinkerbell

Tiana

Ariel

Cinderella

Aurora

Esmarelda

Go Go Tomago

Moana

Violet

Mareena and

Charlotte

they all made my odd ball status quiet clear as the ignored my presence in the room. I felt my temper begin to rise, how dare they treat me like some kind of villain when I had done nothing wrong! I was just about to scream at them when a loud voice shouted

"Silence!"

the room fell quiet as a tomb in an instant and we all looked over to see our dorm moderator, Lady Tremaine, sitting in a chair petting her creepy ass cat. She was a fairly thick woman with disturbingly bright green eyes. Her hair perfectly in place, out of her face, in an up do. She wore a long sleeve, floor length, ball gown type of red dress that looked like it belonged to a different era.

"I am your moderator, Lady Tremaine, and this is Lucifer" she said giving the devil cat a scratch behind his ear that caused a feral looking grin to spread across the cats face. "There are a few additional rules that I felt you should be aware of, which is why I called you down here" she continued, "you are all expected to keep your rooms spotless, should it be anything else there will be severe consequences." I winced, cleaning wasn't exactly my forte, id never needed to before there was always someone to do it for me.

"Additionally your grades determine lock in time, so if one of you are failing anything, lock in goes from 8: 30 to 6:00"

"What!?" Tinkerbell shouted surging to her feet, her face red with her anger "that barely gives us time to do things after school! What if you are in a club? Or a sport?" Lady Tremaine remained composed and unruffled by Tinkerbell's outburst and sat so serenely, still petting Lucifer. Tinkerbell was short, five foot one at her tallest. She had messy blonde hair in a bun that kinda just flopped on her head. It was clearly meant to simply keep her hair out of her face rather than for fashion. She wore an ugly green romper with matching green slippers on her feet, her slippers had little white puffy bells on them.

"Well then, I suppose its in your best interest to appease me and follow the rules than isn't it?" she asked softly and I laughed as Tinkerbell threw a mini temper tantrum in her rage, stamping her feet and everything. I was often the brunt of jokes because I had a difficult time holding my temper, seeing someone else lose it was kind of comforting. Although judging by the glare Tinkerbell sent my way she doesn't appreciate my sentiment.

"If there are no more questions, I will dismiss you back to your rooms, it is late and classes begin early tomorrow, pleasant dreams" she said standing with Lucifer in her arms and walking away. I decided it might be wise to follow her advice.

I awoke to loud, angry voices outside my door, which had me seeing red already and I hadn't even reached first period yet.

"What is this!?!"

"My tech"

"You can't leave it everywhere! keep it in your room!"

"Can we all just stop screaming?"

I snarled and threw my covers off as I spun my feet off the edge of the bed. were they serious right now? they could NOT be serious right now. I threw open my bedroom door, my rage an all consuming beast that threatened to eat me alive

"Shut up!" the other three occupants froze and turned to look me, at this point my mouth was working faster than my brain. "If I have to hear one more word from any of you I'll cut off your heads!" the silence that followed my words was deafening. Aurora looked horrified, Go Go Tomago looked bored, and Esmarelda looked stuck somewhere between amused and wary. I winced and fled back to my room, my mother's words singing in my ears

"You are your greatest enemy, you are the only one standing in your way."

I groaned as I slumped into my chair in first period, not even two hours later and everyone already knew about what I had said this morning. I could tell because people I've never met now looked at me like I was a dangerous criminal. I rested my head on my desk with a sigh as my classmates filtered in, in various stages of conversation. A loud slamming sound had me jerking up in my seat to see our teacher come strolling in, he was unlike any man id ever seen before. He had to be at least eight feet tall and was so skinny I wasn't sure if there was ANY meat on his bones. He was bald with chalky white skin and a huge grinning mouth that went way past giving me the creeps.

"Sorry class, did I startle you? I'm afraid it will happen more than once with a name like Mr. Skelington" his grin widened and I flinched, smiling that big had to hurt "but I can guarantee you that I am the scariest thing you will see in this class." My mouth dropped open and for a moment it remained that way before I shut it, I had no idea how to respond to that.

"Is he for real right now?" a voice asked and I glanced to my left to see Vidia sitting there with a scowl on her face. Vidia was short like Tinkerbell but a little taller I think; her long purple-black hair was in a loose ponytail on top of her head. She wore our school uniform of a white blouse, black knee length skirt and black penny loafers.

"Think so" I muttered as he started talking about a "spooky" activity we could do to learn about our classmates.

"We are screwed in math this year" Maleficent, to my right, predicted and Vidia and I nodded in agreement as I slumped in my chair, Worst. First. Day. Ever.
