[Colby's PoV]

It's been a week now, since Corey and Sam visited me in the hospital. I still couldn't remember him but I didn't want to give up on him either. I just couldn't forget those ocean blue eyes. I felt sorry for him and I mean it's my fault that he felt so heartbroken. Even though I saw him running out of the room, crying, I didn't really felt the urge to say something to him. Maybe I should have but he's still a stranger to me.

My family came to visit me too, 3 days ago. I couldn't talk with them about the thing with Sam yet. I didn't want them to be scared that I could forget them as well. It felt good to have a little company.

While I was lying there, completely lost in my thoughts, somebody knocked on the door. I slightly turned my head to the direction of the door, just to see a woman with short black hair and withe clothes. A nurse.
"Cole Robert Brock?", she asked.
"Yeah..?", I answered slowly.
"Your conditions are getting better and better. You are allowed to leave tomorrow morning. The two friends of you, Corey Scherer and Samuel Golbach, said that they would pick you up and drive you home."

Sam.

"Ok, thanks.", was all I could say. Of course I was happy that I could finally leave this boring ass hospital, where the food looks like it would be a living creature, but I had to see Sam again.
What should I say?
Am I going to remember him when we are back at our home?
How are the other roommates going to react?
Do they already know about me?

The nurse left me alone in my room again. They would pick me up tomorrow. I was kind of nervous.

~The next day~

I woke up and could finally leave the hospital. Sam and Corey waited outside in the parking lot. I slowly went to them. Corey hugged me. "We're going to finally get you back bro.", he said with a big smile on his face. As I stepped away from Corey I could see Sam standing behind him. His hands were burried in the holes of his hoodie. He just looked down on the floor. When he lifted his head up he just nodded in my direction and then got into the car.

Ouch.

Corey and I got in the car as well. Sam was driving pretty fast. The whole ride was silent. Nobody said anything. The radio was on but it was too quiet to really understand what song was playing.
After what felt like entirety we arrived at the Trap house.
I can remember it.
As Corey unlocked the door, there were Jake, Aaron and Devyn, standing in the middle of the hallway with a big poster which said

"WELCOME HOME COLBY"

They all hugged and asked me questions like if I'm feeling well and all. We all remained downstairs in the living room, except Sam. Right after we arrived he went upstairs. I just wanted to talk to him.
It was getting dark and we decided to order some pizza. We all ate and watched Aaron play fortnite.
I left some pizza because I wanted to give it to Sam. They told me about his behaviour and that he didn't really ate anything until they forced him to.

After we all said Goodnight I got the pizza and went upstairs. I was walking slowly, not knowing if he was still awake. I slowly knocked on his door.
"Sam..?", I said.
At first there was silence but then he replied.
"Yeah..?"
"Can I- Can I come in? I have pizza.", I said.
I think he had to think about it because he didn't reply right away.
"It's open.", he said.

I entered his room. There was barely any light. Sam was sitting on the edge of his bed. I slowly closed the door behind me and walked over to him. "Here.", I said, giving him the pizza. "I hope you don't mind that it's cold already but-", Sam interrupted me with a really small chuckle and I could tell it wasn't coming from his heart. "It's okay. Thanks.", he said. He didn't look up to me.

Now we both sat there on the edge of his bed. Nearly complete darkness was surrounding us. "You don't want to go to sleep?", he then said to break the silence.
"I'm not leaving until I saw you how you ate the pizza.", I answered. For the first time he looked up at me with annoyance.
"But I'm not hungry." He said looking down at the pizza again. He was avoiding my eyes. "Eat.", I said. He slowly grabbed a piece of pizza and started to eat. "Satisfied?", he asked.
"Yeah.", I answered.

After he finished eating he looked in the other direction. "They said you might won't ever remember again.", he whispered and I could hear the tears falling down in his voice.
I didn't know how to reply so I just sat there starring at his back. "I think I'm going to sleep now.", he said. I nodded and went to the door. "Goodnight" I said I waited a bit before I closed the door.

I didn't get a reply.
