[Colby's PoV]

I woke up in my bed. It felt good to be back home. Everything was still at the same place as before.. the accident happened. My bed was comfortable and the sun, which is slightly shining trough my curtains felt warm on my face.

Of course this good feeling of just laying there didn't last long. Sam got up in my mind first. He had cried in the night. I could hear him trough the walls. I wanted to comfort him but I didn't know how so I just sat there, leaning on my door and listening to the irregular sobs coming from the other side.

I slowly rubbed my eyes and looked at my phone. 7:46 am. It was way too early but I couldn't sleep anymore so I decided to stand up. I got myself some clothes and went to the bathroom quietly. I brushed my teeth and fixed my hair.

After I finished my morning routine I opened my door and stepped outside of my room. I looked up and saw that Sam's door wasn't closed. I slowly opened it fully and looked around. No Sam in here. Where did he go?

I walked down the stairs and went outside. He wasn't in the house? I decided to look for him. I walked down the streets. Something was telling me where to go even though I didn't know the area.
Right. Left. Left. Along the street.
I was standing at the beach. Sure I can remember the beach but not the way I came here. Strange. I walked along the beach. The waves were quiet and calm. The sand was warm and soft.

I looked around and saw someone standing next to a tree. As I got further to the tree I recognised the person who's standing there. Sam. A warm feeling got up in my stomach. I walked up to him.

"Morning.", I said as I stood right behind him.
He flinched away a bit but relaxed again as he saw my face. "Morning.", he said whispering.
We both sat down at the same time and I just chuckled about it. It felt so normal to be here and sit down right next to this tree. "Do you remember this?", Sam asked. "Yeah.. I came here a lot. I always sit here and watch the ocean.", I answered. "I know.", Sam said with a little smile.
"Every Sunday morning.", we both said in sync.

We just looked in each other's eyes. I was trying to find something in them. Something to hold on to. Something that helps me remember him.
Nothing."How do you know that?", I asked. "We alsways came here.. together.", he said, his eyes looked back at the ocean. "Oh.", was everything I could say. It felt strange that he knew things in my life which I can't remember I did with him.

We both sat there for a while until Sam stood up. "Come on. We should head back home.", he said. We walked back to the house. The house I couldn't remember I shared with him. We walked there in a comfortable silence. Even though I didn't know him, he knew me. Better than anybody else and I knew that. It felt good to know that he has all the memories. Kind of safe? Maybe if he talks about it more or shows me what we all did in the past I will remember it. I will remember him.

I have to remember you.
