Final Goodbyes

2 Weeks Later

My flight to Cali is in 2 hours. I just finished packing my last suitcase. I can't stop crying because I'm going to miss my hometown and most importantly LJ. I hate that I can't bring him out here with me anymore. When Lang was alive his plan was after I graduate LJ, Lang & I would move to whatever city I was going to college in. I wish I had the money to take him with me. LJ and I decided to go see our brother Lang before I left because I won't be able to do my weekly visits because I'm moving which I'm not taking too well. LJ and I are sitting by his tombstone, sharing stories we had with Lang. My brother was the most amazing person I have ever met. I learned every thing I needed to know to survive from him. I held hands with my brother as we closed our eyes. "Langston, We really miss you down here. We wish that you never left but we appreciate all the things you have done for us. You & LJ are the only two people who will truly have my heart." I took a deep breath because I started to get chocked up. "I wish that you were here with us physically to get both of us out of this hell house like we planned but we know that you're here with us spiritually. Guide us down the right path like you always do. Thank you so much for your presence on this earth. We love you! I promise I will come visit you every time I touch down in Virginia." I grabbed Lang's necklace that was around my neck and kissed the cross. LJ & I opened our eyes and hugged each other. "I love you Leiya. You're a strong person and I know you will do well in Cali. " I smiled. "EVERY break I will come visit you or I will fly you to Cali during your break." He smiled. "Im coming to Cali so I turn up with the beautiful women." I rolled my eyes. "OMG! Let's go. Gotta get to the house so Mr. & Mrs. Daniels can take me to the airport." I rolled my eyes again. He laughed.

I walked into my room and made sure I had everything. I walked up to Mr. & Mrs. Daniels room and knocked. Mr. Daniels opened the room door. "What you want?" as he licked his lips, "I need to go to the airport now. Are you guys ready ?" "Ohhh we forgot to tell you. American Horror Story comes on and we can't miss it. So take a cab, bus, whatever." I shook my head. "Y'all really don't care that I'm leaving for college ?" He smirked. "We knew this day would come and we no longer have to wait." I can hear Mrs. Daniels laughing in the background. "Now bye. We ain't got time for dis." He closed the door. LJ came out his room, "remember what I said." I nodded. "I really ain't trippin bro. I gotta get going." We hugged . I love you bro."

I pulled my phone out, dialed the number and listened to it ring

Hey, Can you pick me up and take me to the airport?
