Aug's POV

At this moment, I felt it was right for me to tell Leiya that I loved her. I had the feeling in me for a while but I wasn't too sure. When I couldn't find her at the house and LJ told me someone took her, my heart started to hurt. When I held her in my arms after the situation it made me appreciate her even more. I felt the need to tell her I love her. I couldn't picture my life with out her.

"Do you really ? You don't have to say it just because I did."

"Aug, I knew you were something special when I dropped everything to go to New York. The first time I kissed you I felt different but in a good way. You know when they say "When you meet that special person you'll know. You just get that gut feeling ." I felt that and every time you leave I felt like a part of me left."

She stared into my eyes and I kissed her soft lips passionately.

"You bring out the best in me and that's what I needed. A nigga be angry and stressed out sometimes but when I come visit or talk to you. I be smilin and shit, laughin all day and havin a good time. And I love yo annoying short ass for that."

We laughed, "You neva had a real women in ya life to HOL' IT DOWN!"

"See! Annoying as fuck."

"Yea! Yea!"

LJ pulled up to his dorm and turned around. "I hope one day I can have a relationship like you two. Be safe out chea & I'll see y'all soon. Love ya sis." We hugged and "Thanks Patna! I fucks wit anyone who cool with my sis. But let me find out you do some weird shit mayne." They both laughed.

"You good playa! Don't Panic."

"Good Job Rocky! You helped save the day." LJ rubbed the top of Rocky's head.

We all got out the car. I got in the driver side and Leiya got in the passenger seat. I drove off towards Leiya house so she and I can get some rest.

I woke up and saw that Leiya wasn't in bed. I got up and went to look for her. She was sitting outside on the balcony cross-legged in the chair. I slid the door to the side a little bit and sat next to her. She kept looking at the view and stayed in silence. I could tell something was wrong with her.

"You ok ?"

"Yeah, I'm just thinking."

"About what ?"

"Random stuff."

"You wanna talk about it ?"

"I'll be fine."

"Nope Leiya No! We goin talk righ' na." I turned her chair to face towards me since she didn't wanna look at me when she talks. "Speak!"

"I just don't know August. It's just stuff I think about every now and then."

"Let's talk then baby. I'm here to listen even if you don't need advice. I'm all ears." I sat back in my chair.

"I think about my father a lot and where my life would be if he was in my life. I remember when he was in my life, it was perfect then he stopped coming around. Then my Mom's current husband came around and everything went down hill. I feel as if my dad was around Landon was still be here and it would be a happy family." she started to cry. I pulled her up from her sit so she can sit on my lap. "Once I got older I... I never had girl time with my mom, when I had girl issues in school my... my mom wasn't there, birthdays and holidays was just another day but she always spent time with her new husband's family."

"Baby girl, I'm very sorry you went through al' this. But that's her lost and I don't understand why she would treat you guys like this. She obviously has personal issues wit ha'self which is why she acts the way she does." I wiped tears from her eyes. "Leiya, you are the most beautiful person I have ever met inside and out. I pray that when ever I have a child and it's a girl she turns out like you. Ya respect ya self, ya have manners, very understanding and more. And your father, I think you should try to get in contact with him. Hire some people to find him. That might help you and will answer a lot of your questions about your life."
