I finally touched down in Virgina and as I'm walking out of the airport. I hear "Ayyoooo Leiya" I laughed seeing my little bro. He is not little any more. "Wassup big little brother!" He did this swag walk "Yoooou know! The ladies love me." I pushed him a little. "Whatever! Nice whip." He smirked. "Ladies love a nigga that can drive." I got in the car. "You better not be out here disrespectin females." I gave him the side eye. "Of course not! I disrespect the hoes and bitches." I shook my head and giggled. "Your really annoying." He played RJ - Ride Wit Me. I told him about all the Cali artist. He pulled off fast and headed towards the freeway. We pulled up in front of the hotel. "Thanks bro." He smiled. "Umm, we going out to eat tonight." He gave me this worried look. "with Mr. & Mrs. Daniels ?" He sighed. " Yeaaah". I shook my head, "I don't know bro. Nothing has changed." "I feel you but just think about it. Do it fa me." I shook my head. "I'll go." He hugged me, "I'll pick you up in 2 hrs so we can go together."

LJ will be here in 15 mins. I'm wearing a black shirt that extends down to mid-thigh w/ splits on the side, black skinny jeans, & a simple lime green heels with a thin strap around the ankle . I slicked my hair back into a low curly haired ponytail. I wrapped up LJ's gifts.

I took a deep breath, crossed my heart, kissed the necklace and walked out the door and into the elevator. I don't know how tonight is going to go but I gotta deal with it. LJ told me they had gotten better but he thinks it's because he will be leaving for college.

"Sup bro" he smiled, "Ouuu! That's for me." I laughed. "Yupp! But you can't have it till dinner." He sucked his teeth and pulled off. "Boy don't get smacked!" He laughed. We pulled up to the restaurant. Valet took the car and we walked in. I saw my "mom" and my heart started beating fast.

"Calm down" he laughed. "You can tell ?" He shook his head. "It's written all over your face. Just chill." I took a deep breath as we walked up. It was Mr. & Mrs. Daniels, our auntie, 2 cousins, 1 of my "mom" 's co-workers & 2 of his friends. "The man of the hour is here." Mr. Daniels said. I cheered only for LJ. I said "Hi" to everyone. Lj and I sat next to each other. My "mom" said "How you been Leiya ? I haven't heard from you in a while." She smiled. I just stared at her. "Because you don't pick up the phone and call." "You don't either" she spat back. "Yeah because when I would call you never return phone calls. I stopped trying 3 years ago" It got silent. "I didn't come here to talk to you about our issues. I came for LJ so let's keep it as that."

Dinner was delicious. I gave LJ his gift. He opened it in front of everyone. "Whaaaat?! This is doooope. I been wanting all of these and you got me a jersey from one of my favorite stores." I smiled the whole time and took pictures. "Seeing you happy, is the best gift." I gave him a hug. "You know you my favorite sister right?" He laughed hysterically. "Now this is why I call you annoying." He smirked, "but I now have a gift for you." I looked at him with a concerned look on my face. "I got accepted into my dream school." my mouth opened wide, "UCLA?!" He smiled and shook his head. "Oh my god! Oh my god! So that means..." He smiled, "I'm moving to LA!" I stared at him and I can feel the tears forming in my eyes. "Leiya please don't cry." a tear dropped and I wiped it. "I been praying for this to happen so you can come out there with me." He smiled, "I know I been praying on it." Mrs. Daniels said "NO! Why ?! You can't afford it." We both looked at her crazy, "I got a full ride scholarship playing football for them." "& I have a well paid job plus I been saving up for 4 years if he ever moved out here. Whatever he needs I got him and it's always been like that." She had this shocked look on her face. "I guess so but don't come running to us if you guys need anything" she said under breath. "I'm not going to say anything because you frontin right now in front of people and I don't want to embarrass you." I looked away, "That's no way to speak to your mother." I laughed at him, "Your a joke. Quit talking to me." I put money on the table and got up. "I hope everyone has a wonderful night." I walked away & LJ said his goodbyes and followed. "Sorry about that Lei" " Its all good. You don't have to apologize for something that is no where near your fault." We got on the freeway and pulled up in front of my hotel. "Can I spend the night at your hotel ?" I shook my head, "Of course!" "Cool! And I'm going to bring all my stuff for graduation and we leave together." I smiled, "Sounds good. I'll see you in a few." He threw up the deuce and drove off. I laughed to myself and walked into the hotel lobby.
