Leiya's P.O.V
I am sooo happy. This weekend, I get to see my baby Aug. He's been doing amazing since the tour incident. He's been taking care of his body, getting more rest, and eating healthier. He will be out here in two days and then stays for two days afterwards before going back on tour. I'm on the way to work right now. I pulled into my parking space and walked towards the elevator. I finally reached our office.
"Hi Leiya!" Ricki said.
"Hi Love."
"You ready for today ?"
"Yeesss! I can't wait to announce who will be on the Cali Christmas Tour"
"Me too! Today will be fun."
"Agreed." I smiled.
Today, they are letting me announce the names of all the artist who will be performing at Cali Christmas. Today was a big day in the neighborhood.

I'm finally off work and I decided to stop at Big 5 Sporting Goods because I ripped my knee pads for volleyball. I walked in bought my stuff and walked out. I stopped at the grocery store too because I'm making dinner tonight for LJ and his friends plus Aug and I decided that Aug will stay at my house instead of a hotel. I needed the house stacked with food. I don't have time to get it tomorrow because I have a game and it would be too much to get it the day August comes.

I reached my house and decided to take a shower before I cook. I finished my shower and hygiene. I went downstairs to start making the food. I will be making honey BBQ wings, homemade macaroni & cheese, and a simple Caesar salad, my brother requested. My brother and his friends will be over in about an hour.

My doorbell rings and I go unlock it.
"Hi Guys!" I gave each of them a hug.
"Sup Leiya!" they all said.
As we walked back to the living room.
"I put some chips and salsa on the table while you guys hangout and wait for me to finish the food."
"Thanks sis!"
"Thank you!" both his friends said.
He invited his two close friends from the football team. Justin Combs & Ron [ 😏😏😏😂] They hooked up their XBOX and played games in the mean time.

I'm finally done cooking and I sat everybody's plate on the table. They were watching the basketball game but lucky for them they can still see the tv from the dinner table because their eyes were glued to the screen.
"Food is ready!"
They all got up slow and their eyes haven't left the screen.
"Ouuuuu! Swaggy P juked that nigga."
"Had his ankles like noddles, wobbly." Ron said.
"& he scored. My niggga" my brother said. They started to walk towards the table.
"For someone who wasn't born in Cali, sho is a die hard laker fan." Ron said.
"It's not all about where you from. It's the teamwork, players, scores..."
"Whaaaatever! The Heat will always be THAT team." Justin said.
"BOY IF YOU DONT GET -"
I laughed at them as I put dressing and cheese that I wanted on my salad.
"This food looks flight!" Ron said.
"Hell Yeah!"
"Do you guys say grace because LJ and I do ?
"Yeaaah! All the time." Ron said. Justin shook his head in agreement.
"Ok! Cool. We can't just say grace to ourselves and eat.
Everyone bowed their heads and said their grace. When I opened my eyes everyone was diggin in. I smiled to myself.
"This is flight!" Ron said.
"Forrrreaal!" Justin said.
"I told y'all my sister can cook!" I smiled.
"Thanks guys! If you want more chicken or Mac and cheese. It's on the stove. Feel free!"
We all grubbed. I started to get full but I had to finish my plate. The boys got seconds. Then fought over the last few pieces of chicken. I laughed and washed the dishes.
"Bye Leiya! We gotta get back to our dorms!" LJ said.
"Alright! I'm glad you guys enjoyed my food. You guys are always welcomed to chill over here. Drive safely."
"Thanks Leiya!" Justin said.
"Most def! Thanks." Ron said.
I went to go lock the door as they walk downstairs to the car.
"Your sister is fire." Ron said.
I laughed to myself and locked the door.
I went upstairs and went over my speech for tomorrow before I went to bed. I got a long day tomorrow. Work, present a speech, and a big game tomorrow. This game will let us know if we make it into the bracket of Finals or not.
I put my hair in a ponytail and sat up on the bed as I recite my speech.
My phone started to ring and I smiled.
"Hello!"
"Sup Ugly!"
"Going over my speech grasshopper."
"Stop calling me that weirdo" I laughed.
"You started it!"
"Imma end it. How'd your day go beautiful."
"Ahhh! That is much better. It was wonderful handsome. How was yours ?"
"It was coo! I enjoyed the show."
"That's good! I can't wait to see you!"
"Same here baybeh!"
"Well I'll let you get back to your homework my young scholar." I laughed.
"Thanks! Have a good night."
"Good Night!"
I finished reviewing my speech and switched up a few parts. I felt more confident in the speech now. I turned off my lamp and went to sleep.

I woke up and made oatmeal. I ate my breakfast then took a shower. I'm wearing my red and yellow school colors Trojans Volleyball shirt that I cut into a crop top, light blue skinny jeans that I cut up in the front, a gold body chain and I slipped on my all white high top vans. I grabbed my school and volleyball bag. I made sure everything I needed was in there. I grabbed my wallet, keys, and phone. I made sure everything was off and locked the doors behind me. I walked down to the car and put my stuff in the backseat and headed to work. I reached work and got a text from Aug.

I walked into the office excited and ready to work.
August P.O.V
I couldn't wait to see Leiya. She thinks I arrive tomorrow, the day of the show but I'm not. I will be out there tonight and I will show up at her volleyball game to support. She was there for me when I was at one of my lowest points in my life. This is just the beginning of me repaying her. I have an early show today. I get off stage at 12pm and head straight to the PJ. I gotta make sure I get to LA on time. Her game starts at 6 and I land at 6pm. Her games usually last 2 hrs so I will make it as long as I'm there and watch half of the show. I'm at sound check right now getting ready for the show. Usher will come into town tomorrow morning for the LA show.

I just finished performing. The crowd loved me.
"Sup Man!" I gave a handshake to Usher
"Your doing great man! Your very talented and I'm glad I chose you and you accepted to be apart of my tour."
"Thank you! It means so much to hear that from you. Your an OG in the game and I've learned a lot."
"Thanks! Imma let you go so you can surprise your girl which I think is really dope of you to do."
"Thank you! She is something special."
"I can tell by the you react when you talk about her." We both laughed.
"Thanks! You'll get to meet her tomorrow night."
"Ok, have a safe trip"
"Thanks! Rock the stage!"
I walked away. My luggage was already with me and the cab was waiting for me. I got in the car and now I'm on the way to the airport.
We reached the airport, went through the metal detector, and now we are being guided down to the private jet. We reached, they took our luggage and we boarded the PJ. Ready to take flight

Leiya's P.O.V
I'm glad the class and my teacher loved my speech and yoga class is always relaxing. I gotta go to the gym and get ready for volleyball.
I went to the locker room and put on my shorts, long sleeve team jersey, knee pads, and gym shoes. I walked into the gym and said Hi to some of my team mates.
"Hi LeiLei!"
"Hi Ana!" We hugged.
"We have 2 hrs until the game so the girls went to go get food or chill. But we have to be back in an hour and a half to do warm ups."
"Ok, thanks!"
I walked out of the gym and headed to the school cafeteria. I bought a strawberry banana smoothie and a banana. I walked to my car and chilled in there till game time.

August P.O.V
I just landed in LA. It's now 6:10pm and I'm getting my luggage. Before I go to her game, I want to buy her flowers. We had a driver for the night. I picked out her 2 favorites; Lily and Gladiola flowers and mixed them together. I got in the car and now I'm on the way to her school. The traffic was crazy like always in LA.
I pulled up to her school and it was 7:20. I had Big T and Marcus as my body guards. We hired Marcus just to come with for the volleyball game because we don't know how people will act. I walked into the gym and it was pretty crowded. I heard a few screams but not too much. Big T shushed them so that they wouldn't cause a scene. I needed this moment to be special. I found a seat in the cut and looked for Leiya. I found her and she was puttin work. I didn't know how good she really was.
As time was flying I was getting nervous, like a nigga had butterflies in his stomach. Leiya's team was winning and with a few more seconds the game will be over. The loud buzzer went off and the crowd started to scream. I clapped for Leiya. She was hugging her teammates and cheering. She shook hands with the other team out of respect. At this point everyone is walking around and going up to the team players talking. I decided this is now my time to surprise her.
"Big T!"
"Yeaa!"
"Ok I need you to be in front of me and quickly put your hands around her eyes cause if she sees you then she will know I'm here. And when you take your hands off her face then I will be standing in front of her with the flowers."
"Ok cool!"
We are now walking on the gym floor towards Leiya and my stomach is doing backflips. Big T and my body guard had to signal the people she was nearby to be quiet. We got close enough and Big T put his hands over her eyes.
Leiya's P.O.V
"Who is this ?" they didn't say anything.
"Foreeeal! Stop playin." I laughed. It was quiet in the gym all I could hear was little whispers so I started to get scared but then the person uncovered my eyes. I saw August standing in front of me with flowers. I put my hand over my face in shock.
"Congratulations on your win beautiful."
as he handed me the flowers. I took them.
"Thank you! And these are my favorites." as I smiled. I turned around and saw Big T. I smiled and handed him my flowers. I turned around and hugged August tightly as he picked me up and spun me around for a bit.
"Baby! You're amazing. I can't believe that you came to my game. This really means a lot to me." I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"This is only the beginning."
I smiled and hugged him tightly.
My teammates said "Awwww!" and started clapping then the whole gym. I laughed it off.
"Let's go babyeh! Im taking you out tonight."
"Ok! Let me say bye to my coach and teammates."
"iight"
I walked away and that's when people started walking up to August asking for pictures and all that.
My coach and teammates all were saying sweet things.
"Thank you guys! Love y'all and congrats on this W! We gotta keep it up. Trojans on 3. 1, 2, 3... TROJANS!!"
I walked back to August and smiled.
"You ready?"
"Yes!"
"Ok! Bye everyone." as he smiled and waved. Big T and Marcus got everyone out of our way. As we walked away August held my hand and I looked at him. He smiled and I couldn't help but to smile too. This is our first time holding hands and it made me feel secure like I was his lady.
I walked into the locker room. I grabbed my bags and walked out.
"I'm ridin home with you." August said.
"Ok, get your luggage and I'll meet you in the front of the school."
"Coo!"
I picked up August from the front, pressed play and Party Next Door - Sex on the Beach started playing. Then I drove off.
"Uggghh! I'm so mad that I didn't buy the ticket for his show. They were sold out in seven hours." I pouted.
"Yo bad" he laughed
"Aye shut up!" We both laughed.
"But forreal I know you hurt, you love his music." I nodded in agreement
We pulled up to my house and parked.
He got his luggage out of the trunk and we walked upstairs. I opened the door and put on the lights.
"Nice crib!" As he looked around
"Thank you!"
"Yeaaa! It's hella nice."
"I appreciate it."
"Ok! The bathroom downstairs is all yours. I'mma go shower and get ready. You can do what you gotta do downstairs. If you need anything let me know."
"Got it and thank you."
I went upstairs, showered, and did my hygiene. I called August on the phone.
"What you want weirdo ?"
"How do I dress for tonight's occasion ?"
"Umm, classy yet sexy"
"Ok bye."
I went to my closet and tried on a few outfits before I chose the best one. I put on a sleeveless v neck crop top with a high waisted form fitting white maxi skirt that stopped a little pass my knees. I looked at myself in the mirror and I was impressed. Although I was skinny, I had the perfect amount of curves. I grabbed my heels which were an all white skinny strap around the ankle. I wouldn't dare to walk down my stairs in heels so I can fall and roll in front of him. I went in my bathroom, oiled my hair, and sprayed a little water in it. I'm wearing my natural big curly hair tonight. I put on my studded earrings and cuban link bracelet. I sprayed Nicki Minaj Minajesty and turned off all my lights upstairs, grabbed my purse and heels. I walked downstairs and August had on white pants with gold zippers down the legs, a simple white mid-thigh shirt, white "Strug Life" snapback with the burgundy colored Buscemi shoes. He couldn't hear me walking down the stairs because he had his music hooked up to my bluetooth stereo system and he was looking through his jewelry case.
I walked up to my full length body mirror and put my heels on as I was making sure my outfit looks nice.
August P.O.V
I was looking thru my jewelry case trying to figure out what necklace to wear and I look over and see Leiya in this all white outfit and she looks beautiful. Her body is perfect! I couldn't stop staring at her until she caught me looking at her and she smiled.
"I love your outfit! You look handsome... as always." she smiled.
"Thank you! You look beautiful."
"Why are we matching lowkey?" She giggled.
"Great minds think alike."
"You'z rigght!" I laughed.
"You guessed it! Woooh!" We both laughed.
"You ready ?" he asked
"Yes! But first we gotta take a picture." I laughed.
"Ok, Coo!"
We took a few pictures and left to meet my driver downstairs.
We got in the car and was just chillin till we reached our destination.
"Where we going?"
"To go eat and maybe some other things."
"Ohhhh..."
"Sit back and just relax" he smiled
So we reach the restaurant and it is beautiful. We walk inside the colors are white and sky blue. The ceiling is painted like clouds in a blue sky, to your left is a gorgeous indoor water fountain.
"Hi, I'm August Alsina and I have reservations for two." he said.
"Oh, Yes! Glad to see you. We will take you to your private room right now." the greeter smiled.
"Thank you!" August said as we followed the greeter.
"Private room ?" I whispered.
He shook his head yes.
"Here is your private room. Your waiter will be here any time now. Enjoy!" our greeter closes the door.
I'm just looking around and August is looking at me.
"Is it extra to do all this becaaause we could of just sat at a regular table." He laughed.
"I haven't seen you in 2 months and a couple days. I been missin yo ugly ass." He grabbed me and squeezed tightly. "I'm trying to get as much alone time as possible." I laughed.
"I missed you too. I think the distance keeps our friendship stronger." He nodded.
"I don't like calling what we have a friendship because I really care and like you a lot. I don't do certain things out of respect for you." I smiled.
"I appreciate it. Thank you! and I feel the same way towards you. We don't need a title we could just keep doing what we do. Titles don't mean anything."
"You smart! I trust you! Your loyal!"
"Get out of here DJAug" we laughed.
The waiter took our order and we continued talking.
"How is the tour going ?"
"It's great! I'm learning a lot and that's one of the main reasons why I joined this tour. I'm performing in front of an older crowd so I get see what type of songs of mine their into, bigger stadium but overall I love it and enjoying myself."
"I'm happy for you. This is a good look and opening up for Usher can open up a lot more opportunities for you."
"Exactly! Working with OG's in the game you learn a lot."
"Exactly! " he sipped his drink.
"Your birthday is in a few more days. "
"Yes sir!"
"What are you going to do ?"
"Nothing." I laughed.
"You gotta do something."
"Okkkkay! I'll get me a cupcake from Ralph's. That's it." I laughed.
"You deserve more than that."
"I haven't celebrated my birthday since my brother passed away."
"That's not cool. You should do something you like."
"I know you not talking! Mr.IWontDoAnythingForMyBday "
"Shut up! I wish I could be out here for your bday."
"That would be cool. We both would be doing nothing." He laughed
"You graduate in December! I'll be there for that."
"That's more important than a birthday so I would appreciate you going to that."
"Most definitely! I'll be there."
The food came and it looks delicious.
"I'll say grace," he put his head down, "God is great, God is good. Let us thank you for our food. Please allow this food to nourish our bodies as it should and bless those who are less fortunate than us. In Jesus name we pray, so it is, Amen." We opened our eyes.
"That was perfect!"
"Thank you"
We ate our food and it was amazing.
August P.O.V
"Let's get going. We got another place to be at."
"Ummm, ok!"
We walked out of the restaurant and our driver was already outside waiting for us. We got in the car and we were on our way to our next destination. I got a surprise for Leiya.
Leiya's P.O.V
We got out of the car on the side of a popular club. A long line wrapped around the corner. I'm thinking August has a show to host or something. I'm just going with the flow. Big T is waiting for us in the back of the club.
"Hi Big T!"
"Sup Leiya!"
We walk into the club and a lot of well known people are backstage. I saw Drake, Dom Kennedy, Tinashe and many more. August said wassup to a few people and took pictures. We walked upstairs to a VIP section. Sneak, Knuck, and a few other friends were up there turnt up.
"Sup Leiya!" Sneak said.
"Hi Sneak! How you been?"
"I been good & you?!"
"I'm great, thanks for asking."
August introduced me to Knuck.
"Hi! I'm Leiya. Nice to finally meet you."
"Same to you too." We shook hands.
I looked over the balcony and this party didn't look like a regular party. It's set up like a concert. Everyone is facing the stage and the DJ got everyone dancing. I sat down on the seats in front of the balcony. August sat down next to me and had his hands all over me.
"Did I tell you that you look beautiful tonight?"
"Yes, you did Aug. Thank you!"
The lights got dark and everyone started screaming.
I'm wondering who's concert is this.
The beat drops and I hop up on my feet.
Ty$ - Lord Knows starts playing. I could damn near cry.
