The next morning, Felicity woke up in a better mood than when she had fallen asleep. Everything that had happened yesterday had wiped out her energy and she really needed the good night sleep she was able to get. She showered and changed before going down to breakfast where she knew her friends would be.

Emmalyn was the first to notice her arrival and waved eagerly for her to come over. Luke looked up at her and silently asked if she was alright to which she nodded, both for his sake and hers. It was a new day and things might be better.

"Sleep alright, sis?"Riley asked, pecking Lis' forehead.

She rubbed her eyes. "Yeah."

"Did you have a chance to go over the plans me and Jas edited?"Wilhelmina inquired between bites of scrambled eggs.

"Consider them approved,"Felicity answered, plucking a strawberry off her brother's plate and popping it into her mouth. "But if anyone asks why they weren't invited I'm sending them to you."

"Fair,"Jasper sighed.

Gemma smiled. "I'll go buy the lanterns, streamers, and lights after Grammar this afternoon. Anything else we need?"

"Drinks and food are being brought in the day of, so that's taken care of,"Alistair confirmed.

"The invite list is pending thanks to a certain someone,"Mac directed her gaze over to Wilhelmina who stuck her tongue out.

Felicity nodded. "Then I think we don't need anything else. But remember to check the group doc just in case that changes."

Just as Lis was about to get up to walk with Mac, Luke, and Esme to class when someone grabbed her arm gently. She turned and saw Jay beaming down at her charmingly. "Hey, Lis."

"What's up?"she returned his grin with a small smile.

Jay glanced around. "Can I talk to you in private?"

Felicity looked over at her friends and waved them off, telling them she'd meet them in class, before walking to a more secluded part of the cafeteria with Jay. "So what did you need to talk about all the way over here?"

"I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me this afternoon,"he asked sweetly, leaning against the wall.

She raised a brow, smirking. "Do you even know anywhere to go in Auradon?"

His face flushed bright pink and he tried to stutter out an answer. "Um... well... uh..."

"I'd love to go out with you!"she told him eagerly. "Just let me handle the planning. I'll text you." Lis pecked his cheek and quickly went to class, leaving Jay in a stupor.

"So what happened?"Esme asked as soon as Felicity walked into the room, catching the princess off guard.

"You and Jay looked real cozy in that corner,"Mac wiggled her eyebrows.

Felicity rolled her eyes, not being able to hide a giggle. "Jay asked me out."

"WHAT!"Esme squealed, scaring the entire classroom. "Lis that's wonderful!"

They heard someone clear their throat. The four friends turned to see their teacher staring at them, obviously annoyed. "Will I be sending you four down to the Headmistress' office?"

"No, miss,"Luke assured her, glaring at his friends. She reluctantly nodded and returned to the lesson.

But, after class, the Esme bombarded her with questions. "How did he ask? What time is your date? Where is he taking you? Have you figured out what you're going to wear?" She sped through her inquiries at lightning speed and her three friends could barely understand a single word, but Esme had that tendency when she was excited.
