"I wanna see the baby!" Sasha shoved through everyone the second we came into the mess hall.
"Yeah, me too!" Krista added.
"I said I wanted to see it first!" Ymir protested.
"Guys, one at a time."
"Finally!! Let me see!!" Hanji pushed everyone aside, her arms outstretched towards the baby.
"Eren." I said nervously. My boyfriend stepped in front of me as a protective gesture.
"Eren, can you possibly step to the side? I can't really see."
"No."
"What?"
"No. You're just gonna grab him and do experiments on him."
"Experiments? Why would I do that unless you-." Hanji's eyes grew wide "-You gave birth to a titan like I predicted!!" She laughed hysterically.
"Levi, can you get her out of here?" Eren asked, placing his hand on my arm.
"Yeah, sure." Levi rolled his eyes and stepped forward. "C'mon, psycho."
"No! I haven't gotten to see the little angel yet!"
"I'm sure they'll let you see him when you've calmed down."
"Aww, but I wanna see him now!" Hanji whined as she was dragged out the door.
"So did you guys actually have a titan?" Jean asked.
"Yeah. We weren't expecting something like this at all to be honest." Eren confessed.
"I can imagine how weird that was."
"How bad was it?"
"What?" I asked.
"Did it hurt?" Krista asked.
"Oh jeez. She was screaming the whole time."
"Yeah, because it felt like I was getting ripped in half, Eren." I glared at him.
"Struck a nerve. My bad."
"What's he gonna eat?"
"Human flesh, idiot. It's a titan." Reiner replied.
"I know that, but where are we going to get it from? We don't exactly get good pickings from the titans."
"May I make a suggestion. How about we make a human sacrifice every once in a while."
"Wow, Reiner. Way to show how much you value your team members." Annie muttered.
"Fine, since some people are against that idea, Annie, maybe we should let Eren make the sacrifice."
"Reiner, what the hell!" I snapped.
"He regenerates! Remember that one time he lost his leg?"
"Yeah, but he's not cutting off a limb every time the baby gets hungry."
"Oh for fucks sake." Reiner growled, storming out of the room, the door slamming behind him.
"I have no responsibility for the brat, so I'm leaving." Annie said, following Reiner.
"It's not their responsibility to begin with, so why are they even acting like it?"
"I don't know."
"We'll find a way to feed him."
"Yes, make him stronger so that one day he'll grow to his natural size and kill us all." Levi muttered darkly, leaning against the wall, his arms folded across his chest.
