"Are you nervous?" Sasha asked me, running a brush through my hair.
I shook my head. "Not really, no. I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with Eren. He's done so much for me and he's loved me like no one else has."
"That's so sweet. Eren's honestly lucky to have you." Mikasa added from behind me.
"I hate to be this person, but we're running behind, girls." Hanji pushes he glasses up the bridge of her nose and looks at the clock on the wall.
"Shit." Sasha muttered, placing the hairbrush back on the table. "We gotta get you in your dress." She takes the white strapless gown out of the closet and lays it out on the bed.
"Did you get the veil?" Mikasa asked, helping me into my dress.
"It's over here." Hanji holds it up.
Seconds later, Levi's voice came from the other side of the door. "Are you guys about done in there? We're going to be late."
"We're just about done!" Sasha pins the veil in as I slip into my boots. "Don't forget your bouquet."
"Thanks."
"You look so beautiful." Sasha turns me so I could catch my reflection in the mirror.
"Your mom and dad would be so proud if they were here." Mikasa adjusts my veil.
Tears pricked at the back of my eyes. "Thanks guys." I said, my voice on the verge of breaking.
"Let's get this show on the road!" Hanji opens the door.
Levi turns to look, his expression blank and boring before he sees me. "Wow. You look amazing."
I blush and look down at the floor. "Thanks."
"Your parents would be proud of you, Stormer."
There it is again. "Levi..." A few stray tears slipped down my cheek.
"Don't cry." Levi wipes my tears away with his sleeve. He holds me at arms length and looks me in my eyes. "Listen, I want you to know that I'll always be here for you no matter what. It doesn't matter if you're with him or not, you can always come to me if you need anything, you hear me?"
I lunge towards my cousin and hug him, burying my face in his jacket. "I love you, you stupid idiot."
"I love you too, kiddo. Now let's go. We can't keep the brat waiting, can we?"
"Eren, what's wrong?" My heart was beating what felt like a million miles a minute, my palms and forehead dripping with sweat.
"Nothing. I'm- fine. I'm fine." I reply, running a shaky hand through my hair.
"You're nervous, aren't you?" Marco asked, visibly concerned.
"No! Why would I be nervous? That's ridiculous!" I laughed almost hysterically.
"You're not thinking about backing out, are you?" Jean says, his arms crossed across his chest.
"What?! That's crazy talk! I would never back out on Stormer, especially on our wedding day! What am I, some sort of asshole?" I started pacing back and forth.
"Eren, look at me." Jean grabs my shoulders. "I want you to answer some questions, okay?"
"Okay."
"Tell me, who fell in love with Stormer that night?"
"I did."
"And who got eaten by a titan and got resurrected as one the very next fucking day?"
"I did."
