"Glenn!" You tried to yell over the sound of the blaring car alarm. You were sitting in the passenger seat of a red Dodge Challenger. You and Glenn were supposed to distract the walkers, while Rick rescued the others in a box truck. Glenn seemed to really enjoy the car. He was practically screaming with excitement.

"Glenn!" You yelled even louder.

He finally turned over to you still smiling like a child who just found candy during the end of the world.

"Is Merle okay?" When you asked, his smile went away. "Shit. I don't know. Daryl's gonna kill us if he's not."

Merle better be out of those cuffs, or you were going to need to have a word with "Officer Friendly".

Merle wasn't exactly the best person. You knew that, but you've grown to like him. You wouldn't go as far to say you were friends, but you were probably the only one besides Daryl, who didn't hate the drug addict.

"Don't worry (Y/N), I'm sure he's fine." You weren't really worried. You just hoped he didn't get himself killed, for Daryl's sake.

---------------

When you got out of the car people were already yelling at you and Glenn. "Holy crap. Turn that damn thing off!" Dale yelled at the two of you. Glenn just yelled over the alarm saying he didn't know how. "Pop the hood, please. Pop the damn hood, please." Shane said. "My sister Andrea--" Amy started. "Pop the damn hood!" Shane cut her off. "What? Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah! Okay!" Glenn was trying to yell over Amy and Shane while going to pop the hood of the car. "Is she okay? Is she alright?" Amy kept yelling at Glenn. "Yeah, she's okay!" You finally spoke up.

Amy turned towards you now. "Is she coming back?" You responded with a yes and she kept questioning you, "Why isn't she with you? Where is she? She's okay?" You were starting to get annoyed with the girl. You understood she was worried about he sister, but she kept asking the same damn question. Glenn just yelled yes, but more quietly because the alarm was finally off. "Yeah, fine, everybody is." He said.

You tensed, Merle probably wasn't fine. Glenn must of thought the same thing because he said, "Well, Merle not so much." You looked around for Daryl, and he wasn't there. He probably went out hunting.

Nobody seemed to care about Glenn's statement about Merle, as Shane changed the subject. "Are you crazy, driving this wailing bastard up here? Are you trying to draw every walker for miles?"

You rolled your eyes as Shane glared at you. "I think we're okay." Dale said. "You call being stupid okay?" Shane replied more calmly.

"Well, the alarm was echoing all over these hills. Hard to pinpoint the source." Shane looked irritated as he listened to Dale. "I'm not arguing. I'm just saying."

He turned to you and Glenn now. "It wouldn't hurt for the two of you to think things through a little more carefully next time, would it?"

"Sorry." You both said. "Got a cool car." Glenn said, making you laugh under your breath.
