By the time Bria woke up the next morning Adonis was gone. His side of the bed was neatly made and he figured that since she really didn't mean to call him the night before then he should probably leave. As Adonis drove home after his night with Bria he couldn't help but think about the way she slept so peacefully alongside him. Throughout the night he would listen to her light snores as he restlessly laid awake next to her. She was a gentle peaceful woman with a beautiful aura about her that just made his day whenever he was around her. His Bluetooth in his car took him out of his lustful haze as he pressed answer without thinking to read the caller ID.
"You could've at least woke me up before you left."
"I thought you didn't want me around, good morning to you too." Adonis joked with Bria as he drove through Philly rush hour morning traffic to get home.
"Could've still left me something a message anything to let me know that you were leaving."
"You're not my girlfriend Bria, we just fuck I don't owe you shit." Adonis sighs, instantly regretting what he said realizing how bad that sounded out loud.
"We just fuck Hmn." Bria sighs mocking him, annoyed with his pompous ass. "I'll see you on Monday." She abruptly ends the call.
"Bria wait—" Adonis groans in frustration after Bria hung up by her. He hated being hung up on, with this being one of his pet peeves he grits his teeth sighing to shake off his irritation.
She didn't know why but his comment stung, was that all he saw to her? Maybe that's why he wasn't ready to take things serious with her, I mean he did say that he wasn't ready to start dating again but was ready for them to just be fucking if she was up for it. The question was, was she really emotionally stable enough to only have sex with no strings attached? As she got ready for her day ahead she often found her mind wandering through the possibilities of them being together sexually and romantically. She needed to stop though at the end of the day she had a job to do and he was her client. Boundaries had to be set no matter how much her pussy throbbed for that fine specimen of a man.
Bria finally re-emerges from her bedroom around 10:45 am to walk across the living room to the kitchen where she saw Jay making breakfast for his girlfriend Sandra.
"Morning sleepy head." Jay teased.
"Jay don't start." Bria walks around him to the corner of the kitchen where her Keurig was stationed, grabbing a pod of Starbucks coffee out from its holder to place in the Keurig machine. She then grabs her favorite mug and places it underneath the dropper.
"And to think, I made you breakfast." Jay shakes his head playfully.
"And I am forever grateful," Bria bats her eyes dramatically and places her hand across her heart. "What'd you make us?"
"Bacon...eggs...flap jacks fresh fruit and mimosas once you finish your coffee."
"Whew a gentleman," Bria smiles faintly watching Sandra walk up to her man and wraps her arms around him from behind to kiss him on his cheek.
"My handsome thoughtful man," Sandra smiles, resting her chin on his back.
"You're going to make me gag." Bria scrunches her nose up at the two of them being all lovey dovey n' shit.
"It's not our fault you're single, you deadass dreamt had a whole fake relationship with you and Adonis the other night kids and all," Sandra teases.
Bria gasps, watching her coffee drip into her mug feeling embarrassed for even telling her that.
"Wait wait, you thought you two were together?" Jay chuckles to himself. "The D must've been that good hu?"
"Shut up, not everyone can be all boo'd up n' shit like you two. Ugh, you guys make me sick." Bria shakes her head making a gagging sound and pointing towards her mouth.
