FOUR MONTHS LATER

Adonis' fight was tomorrow night in Vegas, but while Adonis was on a press tour in Vegas promoting his fight, Bria was at her scheduled doctors appointment now six almost seven months pregnant, with Sandra because Adonis couldn't make it. As she sat in the doctors office with her best friend, she was upset that Adonis couldn't be here and double booked on the day that they were supposed to be finding out about the baby's gender. She laid across the examination table and turned her head to look at Sandra who was recording her ultrasound for Adonis per his request. Tears formed at the brim of her eyes and sniffles, emotional and upset that her boyfriend couldn't make it to such an important ultrasound.

"Hey, you okay mamas?" Sandra gets up and walks up with her phone still in hand while she was recording and grabs ahold of Bria's hand while the doctor grazed the small device on her stomach while looking at the monitor.

"I-just miss him, I wish he could be here." Bria cries patting underneath her eyes.

"Awe babygirl It's okay, it's okay...you know he wanted to be here more than anything in the world but he's on a press tour for work right now in Vegas." Sandra tried to comfort her.

"Yeah, I know..." Bria whined, wiping her tears. "Ugh Im such a big baby."

"It's perfectly normal to be emotional." Sandra reassures her best friend.

Dr. Samuels looked over towards her and passed her a few tissues to wipe underneath her eyes.

"Your blood pressure is a little bit higher than normal are you in a stressful environment at work? If possible I would put you on maternity leave early if you can. High blood pressure could potentially lead to preeclampsia , gestational diabetes or in severe cases a premature birth. But The less stressed mommy is, the healthier the pregnancy." Bria's Doctor, Dr. Samuels spoke about her health. Sandra looked up at Bria worried for her best friend's health.

"Would you like to know the sex of the baby now? Or would you like to wait?" The doctor asks her. The two look at each other and finally begins to speak up.

"I would," Bria exhales.

"Alright well lets take a look here." Dr Samuels says with a smile moving the small device around on her stomach looking up at the monitor.

Bria lifts her head up to peer over her breasts at the monitor and looks at the moving images of her fetus on the screen. Sandra grabs ahold of her hand, lightly grazing the back of her hand with her thumb and patiently waits for the results.

"Alright mamas, it looks like you and Adonis are expecting a little girl!" Dr Samuels says with a smile.

Bria smiles, looking at Sandra and mouths, 'I told you so.'

Sandra rolls her eyes and shakes her head chuckling to herself.

"Yay, Oh my goodness." Bria says looking into the camera. "We're having a baby girl."

"I'm going to print this photo off and I'm going to get your paperwork together and let you get reacquainted and come back so we can schedule your next appointment." Dr Samuels says with a smile before leaving.

Sandra then ends the recording and helps her best friend up, wiping the gel off of her stomach. Bria pulls her shirt down and fixes herself before looking up at Sandra.

"What's on your mind?" Sandra asks.

"A whole lot." Bria sighs, shaking her head. "Adonis isn't here when he should be and put work before this important day I just...I feel like I'm the only one who wants this baby. He's been distant towards me and I know it's to get his mind right before the fight but I need my baby."
