There was nothing in between us but I still hesitated. I felt Zoe's warm breath against my cheeks. It smelled like mint. That made me wonder what my breath smelled like now. We were no more than a millimeter apart now. Then, I stopped on my tracks. I just paused, not sure what to do next. Zoe sighed. I expected her to get mad like last time.

"Of course. I knew you to do that," she whispered. The expression in her eyes was unreadable. Was she mad at me? Angry? Disappointed?

Then, she grabbed the collar of my shirt. I winced. It was gonna get painful soon. Was she going to slap me? Maybe judo flip? Please don't kill me. I don't want to die like this. But, none of that happened. She slowly pulled me closer. Until, our lips touched. My eyes widened. Right then, I don't know what hit me. I pressed my mouth firmly against hers, kissing her with passion that I didn't know I had. This kiss definitely lasted longer than mine with Erica. It was more enjoyable too, as I wasn't about to die.

Erica. Why am I still thinking about Erica? This was between me and Zoe. I need to stop worrying about Erica. I need to stop caring about her opinions and feelings.

Then, I heard some incoming footsteps. Zoe and I immediately pulled apart and pretended that nothing happened. She pretended to look at her nails and I pretended to be asleep. The door creaked open and Catherine came in.

"Hey children, we're almost there!" She chipped in her British accent. I opened my eyes to find everyone  else awake.

"Finally! What's the plan now?" Mike asked yawning and rubbing his eyes behind us. Wait, did he see any of that? No, the seats were too tall. And he wouldn't be fake sleeping when he could be actually sleeping.

"Oh yes Michael, I'm glad you asked! Alexander and I talked. I think the plan for now is just for us to stay at Orion's mansion for a couple of nights. I don't like the idea of bothering him but he said it'd be no trouble. Then, you children need to head back to Spy School. Goodness, I'm already thinking about all the homework you guys need to catch up to! Erica dear, why are you looking at your friends like that?" She questioned.

Wait...Erica as in...I turned around to see Erica giving me the coldest stare I've ever. It sent chills down my spine. She didn't even blink.

"I'm fine. Just a little nauseous." She replies. Her mouth barely even moves when she says this.

"Oh, I didn't know that! Should I go fetch you some medicine? We're about to land in a couple of minutes." Catherine said with the worried face of a mother.

"No, don't bother, I'm better already. Tell dad that all of us are awake."

"Okay then...tell me if you need anything else. I'll be right next door if you need any help." She said offered and left.

"Do you actually feel like throwing up?" I asked with concern. "Do you need me to get you some water?" I didn't know it was possible for the glaring to get even worse. How could she look so calm and murderous at the same time? Then, Erica gave me a prepare to die look. Zoe gave me a boys are such idiots look. Mike gave me a what the heck is going on look. Then it hit me. Hard. My jaw dropped.

"Were you awake the entire time?!?" I asked Erica astonished.
