10:Sudden Explosion

Bucky was going to meet Steve for a run. This was the first run Lupo was going to a company him, and Lupo was excited. He never took her with him on their morning runs, but since she got a replacement leg, Bucky thought that it was a good idea to have a running buddy besides Steve. He would say Sam, but Bucky loved lapping the bird brain as much as he could.

Bucky clipped her leash on Lupo's collar and the two walked to the park where the three met up to do their runs. Steve was already getting started, Sam was stretching in the grass. Lupo barked happily, tugging on the collar to get started. Bucky could only laugh.

"Okay, okay. You want to run? Let's go Doll. Hurry up Sam!", Bucky started running with Lupo by his side. Sam yelling something in return. The banter between the three never let up as Bucky and Steve lapped Sam. While Sam tried his hardest to keep up. Everything was a normal day.

Lupo suddenly stopped running. Making Bucky jerk back from the leash. Looking at her with his brows furrowed. Her ears her perked. Her eyes set on a man in all black, sitting on a park bench reading a newspaper. Lupo could smell the gunpowder.

Something wasn't right.

Everything went in slow motion. A bomb went off in a trashcan near Bucky, throwing him and Lupo into a nearby tree. Steve and Sam emediatley stopped and started running towards Bucky. Hydra agents swarming the park. Advancing to get the Winter Soldier back into their clutches. Innocent people running away and screaming.

Lupo yelped as she hit the tree. Emediatley getting back up and running towards Bucky. Smelling him to make sure he was okay. His eyes looked dazed as he held his head. Seeing a sudden shadow, Lupo turned and sank her teeth into the agent's arm.

No one was going to hurt her family while she was around.

Steve grabbed a garbage can lid and threw it like his shield at a fw Hydra agents, knocking them off their feet. Sam had called the rest of the team to help contain the area.

The agent started to bash Lupo's head with his gun, trying to get her off with no avail. As the Hydra agents found that the mission of getting the Winter soldier back was not going to work. They decided to take something they knew was close to him. The few that weren't taken down by Steve, grabbed Lupo and helped take her and her new chew toy into a black van.

Bucky yelled for Lupo to get back to him as Sam was helping Bucky get on his feet. Lupo let go of the agents shredded arm and turned to run back to her owner when a hand caught her collar. Seconds later, electricity flowed through her body. Making a howl of pain flow fr her muzzle. She couldn't move as they dragged her into the van and drove off. The door shutting as she looked at the last glimpse of her family racing to save her.

Bucky stumbled to get to the van with Sam and Steve following him. When it raced off before they could reach it, Bucky fell to the ground. Steve reached to hold his best friend against his chest so he didn't face plant into the pavement.

Bucky couldn't hear anything. It was just a loud ringing. Hydra had Lupo. They had his best girl and his heart was breaking thinking about everything they could do to her. To get back at him.

Steve was trying to tell Bucky that they would get her back safe and sound. But, Steve didn't know if he trying to tell Bucky or himself. Sam was telling Pietro, Clint, Natasha, Wanda and Tony who was in his suit, what had happened. When Tony called over to Steve.

"I had a GPS tracker installed into Lupo's collar. Friday, send everyone the information. I'll get a head start.", with that said Tony flew off to get the only dog to wiggle their way into his arc reactor. Pietro racing after him when Friday told everyone where they needed to go.

Wanda handed Sam his suit and goggles, watching him quickly putting it on and flying off. Clint handed Steve his shield, Bucky his guns. Natasha sat in the front seat of the SUV, the tired squeezing off when Steve, Bucky, Clint, and Wanda barely managed to close the doors.

Vision was following Tony, while Bruce was back at the Tower making sir everything was ready if anyone came back with injuries.

"Sir, they have stopped. Behind the abandoned apartment building on your left." Friday rang into Tony's ears. Flying down to the ground, his pulser's armed and ready.

When his metal feet landed with a clang, a sigh left his mouth. The small ally was empty. Trash was thrown about, a couple of cardboard boxes abandoned. One thing that made Tony bark at Friday to start searching the city's cameras for the van.

Lupo's collar. Unbuckled and thrown in a puddle.

Pietro and Vision stopped at their destination when they saw Tony picking up the collar. Vision flew off, trying to see if he could find the black van. Pietro shook his head.

They had gotten one friend back, for another to be taken.

Tony threw the collar to Pietro before flying off. Going with Vision to scout out the surrounding area. Steve and Bucky ran around the corner with the rest behind them. Everyone stopping when they saw the collar.

Natasha pulled Wanda into a hug when Wanda gasped. Clint ground his teeth and bowed his head. Whispered curses coming from his mouth. Steve held Bucky up before he could hit the ground. Russian cursss coming from his mouth.

"Come on Buck. We can go to the tower and look from there. It's not your fault. We'll get her back. It's okay.", Bucky couldn't hear Steve try and reassure him. He didn't remember getting back in the car. He didn't remember Steve helping him walk into the tower or Steve sitting him in a chair in the living room.

Wanda, Steve and Pietro stayed with him. Natasha went to help Bruce find anything to help Lupo. Clint went to go get anger out in the training room. Tony and Vision were still out looking.

Steve got up and got Bucky a water. Which Bucky took automatically. Pietro held Wanda in his arms as she cried.

Bucky didn't speak. He held Lupo's collar in one hand. Putting down the water bottle so he could hold the collar with both hands. Fingering the metal circle then the engraved letters that spelled his name and number.

He vowed that he would get her back. Even if it killed him.

"You idiot! How could you leave without the Winter Soldier?!?!"

"B-but sir! We m-manged to get his w-olf d-dog! I-it isn't a t-total loss!"

"What? Hmmm. This may work in our favor. Get her ready. I have a new serum that I would like to test on this Winter Wolf."
