The day was going by slow, I talked to my friends here and there, lunch soon came around as I walked with Tom and Matilda to lunch today. I noticed Marty with an ice pack on her head as the rest of them glared at me.

I chuckled to myself a bit "what's so funny?" I looked over at Matilda and shrugged"I just thought of a funny joke, that's all" Tom chuckled and said"Do tell" I opened my mouth to say something when I suddenly felt a huge pain on the side of my face. I fell back a bit but ended up catching myself as I sent a glare over to Mark.

He shook his hand in pain"You think your so funny huh?! You come into this school and on the second day you decide to beat up my girlfriend?! Well you've got another thing coming!" I didn't say anything, as he went to punch me again Tom grabbed his arms restraining them behind his back to keep him from punching me again"Chill the fuck out man! She didn't do shit!"

I stood there in thought, a battle booming through my head. One side was screaming to beat the shit out of him for even touching me. The other was trying to reason, with how I want to start over, 'I deserve this. This is the worlds way of punishing me for what I've done.' I sighed and spoke up.

"Look, I didn't do shit"

"I don't know what your girlfriend told you, but they came at me"

Matilda instantly ran over to me to ask if I was okay, I gave her a slight smile and nodded my head. "I'm fine" I turned over to Tom who still was holding Mark back "Tom, just let him go, he's not worth it" Tom let go of him and shoved him towards the ground. "If you ever touch one of my friends again I'll make sure you never walk again." Tom spat at him and shoved his hands in his pockets while following close behind us.

I could feel my face already swelling up as I put a hand on it and shook my head a bit. Once we got to the table Tom sat on one side of me, Ell on the other as I sat across from Tord. "Hey, we saw what happened, are you good?" They all nodded in agreement as I just shrugged"I'm okay, I'm just glad I didn't take a second hit, thanks to this guy right here" I smiled and nudged Tom as he chuckled"ya, well, it was no biggy" he said while looking off to the side a bit.

I noticed Tord didn't look like he was there mentally, as I waved a hand in front of his face "hva?" I gave him a weird look, once he realized the look I was giving him he shook his head and put a hand on his head"Ah, sorry, I speak Norwegian when I space" I noticed a slight blush creep up his face as I giggled. But quickly covered my mouth 'shit..' I thought 'why does his Norwegian have to be hot? Damn it. And why did I giggle?'

He looked up a bit and raised a brow"Did you just-...?" I narrowed my eyes at him as a smirk graced his face, my cheeks went red from embarrassment. Tom laughed a bit and said"I heard it too, dang I never knew that you did that" I glared at the both of them as they laughed, I mumbled"Neither did I..."

Tord leaned over the table and cupped one of his ears to hear better"What was that?" I just ruffled his hair "Hey! What gives? I spend over 30 minutes jelling this thing up!"

I laughed at his reaction, Tori looked at me fearfully and put her hands to block her horns, making me laugh even more as my laughter caught onto Tom, then Ell, Edd, Tamara, and until everyone except Tord was laughing as he sat there with a frown on his face as he stared angrily at me.

I laughed and said"Come on Tordy, you know you wanna..." he smirked a bit and asked"Want to what? (Y/n) you gotta be more specific" I just rolled my eyes and hit him on the head"Laugh you dummy!" He let out a chuckle, and soon he started to laugh along with the rest of us.

After lunch I decided to get my face checked out by the nurse. Tord wanted to join me for the walk just Incase anyone else decided to punch me in the face today. "Tord I told you, I can handle myself" he laughed pointed a finger at my side while saying"Incase you didn't notice, Tom was the one protecting your ass back there, your lucky I have a free period to watch your back" I just rolled my eyes

'Then he'd be running in fear, wouldn't want that would we?'

I shook my head a bit, in confusion, and tried to find my train of thought again. "Please, I had everything under control" he sent a sly smirk my way"mhm, sure... you did" dragging out the 'sure' he chuckled a bit afterwards, I just lightly punched him in the shoulder jokingly as I laughed a bit.

Once we reached the nurses office, Tord stood off to the side as she looked at the bruise and handed me an ice pack. "So what'd she say?" He leaned against the doorframe as I walked over to him"I need to keep this ice pack on it for the rest of the day to keep it from swelling."

I sighed a bit as we walked off, Tord raised a brow"You good?" I chuckled a bit "If you call getting punched in the face on your second day good, then sign me up" it was now his turn to chuckle"Ya, I wouldn't call that the greatest day"

I shrugged"I don't know, I guess I'm just not used to being pushed around..." Tord Smirked a bit"Oh, now I know exactly the kind of girl you were before..." I widened my eyes.

'No, no, no, he can't figure this out, how would he know? Why does he know? Did he see the shit online about me? Ugh, I knew I should've just stuck with being al-'

"You were obviously one of the popular chicks, right?" I sighed in relief and responded with"Uh, ya, I guess you could say that" I shrugged and laughed a bit as he continued"You've never been pushed around, you got a big mouth and your always out there" I tightened my ponytail and nodded my head a bit, but over all stayed quiet "Must be a big change going from the top, to the bottom.."

I smirked a bit at him"That's what she said" he bursted out laughing as I joined him. We ended up talking until we made it to the classroom I'm supposed to be in, Tord walked straight down the hallway sending a wave back my way as I walked into class.
