Class felt like it dragged on for years today. In class I had managed to read the majority of the book Hajime had let me borrow because I was lucky enough to have the teacher not notice my lack of work.

As I was walking home I realised my new friend walking a few people in front of me. "Hello, Hajime! It's Nagito, look behind you!' I yelled to grab his attention. This clearly scared him as he jumped as his name was yelled. "Oh, Hello Nagito. How are you?"." I'm ok. Wanna walk home together? I've read a lot of your book! We can talk bout that." He nodded and we began to talk about 'Clash! Magic Mayhem'.

The main characters had been fighting off a monster and started coming up with advantages which made no since. It seemed like a book Chiaki 'The Ultimate Gamer' would like to read. She is too focused on her gaming for something like that though. Maybe if a visual novel or an RPG was made out of she would like it?

"The main character is a bit like you, you know." I said. "How come? Leiko has three friends and is confident... I'm not like that at all..."." But Leiko also made themselves change from painfully average to someone who changed a life. Correct?"

At this point Hajime would not answer me and looked towards the floor in embarrassment. I hope I didn't make him mad or something. I'll go back to having no freinds. And he also has my book. Can't leave him with that.

I decided to change the topic." Have you started to read my book yet Hajime?"." Of course! I love all of their personalities. It's quite long so you'll probably finish my book first." He laughed.

For some reason I couldn't take my eyes off him. He ended having to shake me to get me out of my trance. "Naaagittoooo!"." Yes? What happened? Did you do anything?"." Are you ok? You kinda spaced out for a second there.".

I don't think anything is wrong with me. Well... that's a lie I guess. I have medical problems but they do not interfere with the problem at hand. Why am I spacing out when I'm looking at Hajime?

I laughed it off and I had reached my house. "Goodbye Hajime!" I waved. A smile grew of my friends face as he continued to walk to his house.

I spent the ready of the day finishing reading Hajime's book : which was surprisingly interesting given it started off a bit slow. The main characters found a loophole and somehow ended up in their original place. Then the book ended. Huh.

Not bad Hajime.

Afterwards, I had fallen asleep only to be woken up by a cold gust of wind coming in through my window. Good : It seemed like the warm weather had finally gone. Today was also a weekend so I had nothing to do (only a few prices of homework). I live alone so talking to family is out of the question. My dogs are tapping downstairs but they can't speak back. God damn it! Why didn't I save reading Hajime's book for today!

I should have asked him for his phone number or something! I'll do that when I see him next!

What to do... I'll go for a walk through the park. That's gotta be interesting enough and it can also be a good time to walk my dogs.

I have two medium sized, fluffy, white dogs. I always forget the breed but whatever they both are it's an adorable breed. They were a bit insane but I live in a large house alone. Not much two dogs can get mad at. If they did get mad at a person or animal then they could get vicious though.

I pulled on my green jacket and black jeans and put the dogs on leads and exited the house, heading for the park. It was about a two hour walk from there back home but I have literally nothing better to do with my life than this. So walking my dogs seemed appropriate.

I walked around the park for a bit and heard yelling, naturally, I followed the noise.

In the distance I saw a large group of teenagers ,the majority from hopes peak, yelling an jumping up and down. I tried to get closer when I realised that they where fighting someone. And that someone was my friend. Hajime. He was covered in blood and bruises. I had to help him.

I found a tree and tied my dogs securely up against it and ran towards the crowd. I turned to a girl who had blue hair and was wearing some sort of cosplay type thingy and asked "what's happening why is everyone beating him up!" . She answered "because he's as useless as mineta with no limbs! It's fun to watch this of course!". What does she mean?

Without thinking, I pushed away everyone I could and grappled Hajime's body from the floor. Most of the ones I pushed had gotten up and started to chance me as I carried Hajime in my arms. Quickly, I jumped over my sofa and sat behind them. The two boys where growling at the group of bullies as I pulled out my phone to call the police.

People couldn't stop me because my dogs would just push them back with biting or some other violent approach. Lucky I came here I guess?

The cops arrived and felt with the situation and an ambulance came to pick up Haiime (he was in a horrible state and I could barely stand to see him in that much pain). I helped him into the ambulances and returned home with my dogs, I planned on going to visit Hajime right after I had deposited my dogs at home. And that I did.

I had collected a crimson backpack from my room and decided to take some things with me : my phone and battery's for recharging it, my diary for if I grew bored, pens and Hajime's book. I left the house again and left for the hospital.

It was a long walk but not anything I couldn't handle on an empty stomach! I stopped by at a corner-shop on my way there and bought a selection of snacks and a drink to have later on.

I entered the hospital and only one thing was on my mind.

Is Hajime ok?
