Get in Line, Sweetheart!

Eden's POV:

"No. No. No. We are not working with you Winchester boys!" Melody protested while backing up.
"Were just looking for a guy who has information on a case" The shorter brother who I think's name is Dean says.
"Listen, I don't know who you think you are but this is our case" I say to the two men "Mark always calls us first if he has anything" Obviously there was a mistake, Mark gave us head's up for everything and he knows we work alone.
"EVANS, GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE AND EXPLAIN" I shout. Mark came stumbling out of his house with papers in hand. "I can explain" He says while holding up the papers. "Now!" Melody demands.
"About a month ago this guy goes missing, they find his car but he vanished" Mark begins to explain.
"Kidnapping?" Melody asks. "That's what I said" Sam states. "But there's another in April another one in December '04, '03, '98, '92." Dean adds "Ten of them over the past twenty years all on the same  5 miles of road" Mark finishes.
"Huh, still, It's not something we haven't dealt with before, why do we need four hunters?" I question.
"All the victims were men" Mark reply's "Don't look at them as help just think of them as...bait" He tells Melody and I.
"Bait that has been hunting their whole lives and probably know how to deal it better, no offence" Dean shrugs. "Yeah? Get in line, sweetheart" I say while taking out the car keys and grabbing the papers from Mark. Melody trades information with Sam while I go wait in the car and read through the case.
"Hey, take it easy on them, their dad is missing after taking on this case, they're just trying to find him" Mark says while leaning to look through the car window. "Are you saying I'm not nice?" I ask pretending to be offended. "I'm saying you're a bit hostile to anyone who isn't Melody" He smirks. "No, not to everyone, just other hunters" I smile teasingly. "Play nice" He shouts while walking back to Sam and Dean. Melody gets into the passenger seat and ask's "Are you ready?" with a smile. I don't reply and turn on the music on some AC/DC and hit the gas.
Melody and I worked alone for as long as I can remember, we don't have many friends because we never stay put for long, but that's all we know. Maybe working with these boys won't be so bad, it'll be nice to have someone to annoy I guess. I look in my review mirror and see Sam and Dean right behind us, I guess it doesn't hurt that they're somewhat attractive, I mean, to someone but not to me. I let out an audible sigh. "What?" Melody asks. "This is going to be a very long trip" I reply.
"Hey at least they're cute" She teases. I only laugh and shake my head, I suppose being together for so long you being to think alike.
"If you say so" I smile.
