Eden's POV:
"This is it," Roy announced, "Black Water Ridge."
"What coordinates are we at?" Sam asked.
Roy dug in his backpack and pulled out a GPS, Roy pushed the buttons on it, before announcing, "thirty five at minus one eleven."
Eden stayed quiet and listened before she came to realize something. "You hear that?" Dean asked, looking at the three other hunters. Eden only nodded in response.
"Not even crickets," Sam said.
"I'm going to take a look around," Roy stated, putting the GPS in the inside of his vest.
The four hunters turned to look at the man, "You shouldn't go off alone," Mel tells him while looking at their surroundings.
"That's sweet, don't worry about me" Roy stated, with that he walked between Eden and Dean.
"Alright, everybody stays together," Dean said with finality in his voice. He raised his eyebrows, almost as if he's asking if anybody wanted to fight him on this. When nobody did, he turned around, saying "let's go," Before following Roy.
Eden followed behind Dean, before they all branched out in groups, looking for something that showed where Tommy might be.
"Haley, over here!" Roy called, and those in the vicinity rushed to where his voice rang from.
They stopped when they got to a clearing, Eden looked around, all around the area were tents that were torn up, with some blood splatters staining the fabric. Packs were laying forgotten, and personal items scattered around the camp. A small wave of anxiety washed over here causing her to become dizzy, she grabbed onto Mels jacket to steady herself.
"Oh my god," Haley muttered.
"Looks like a grizzly," Roy commented, Eden glanced at him, A grizzly wouldn't attack the camp like this.
They all walked forward, investigating the camp site.
Mel crouched down next to Eden and touched the blood with her finger, "It's still fresh." Mel whispered to the girl next to her.
"Tommy?" Haley called quietly, unclipping her backpack and dropping it. "Tommy?! Tommy?!' Sam rushed to shush the yelling, who ran forward, standing at the edge of the clearing. "Why?" Haley asked.
"Something else might be out there." Sam said ominously.
"Guys" Dean called.
The hunters made their way to Dean, Eden taking notice that crouched down, looking at something. Drag tracks from the Wendigo.
"The bodies were dragged from the campsite," Dean stated. "But here, the tracks just vanish. It's weird," The group stood up, looking out into the forest around them.
"I'll tell you what, it's no skinwalker or black dog," Dean said. Eden zoned out while looking at the trees around them, feeling her heart beat a little faster and her hands clench her sleeves before Dean grabbed Edens hand and dragged her away.
"Are you okay?" He asked while pulling the girl in front of him. "I'm fine." Eden lied.
"You've been acting strange" He pressed on. "What's wrong"
"I'm tired" She replied simply, forcing a smile at the end.
She didn't think it was convincing but Dean dropped her hand and headed back to camp.
Mel walked over to Eden, opening her mouth to say something.
"Help!" Echoed through the forest, everyone turning their attention to where it was coming from. They all started running, Roy grabbing his gun and Dean grabbing his.
As everyone ran, Eden stopped, it was a distraction, it wanted them put of the camp. "Stop!" Eden yelled. "It's a trick", Nobody heard her or is they did they weren't listening. Sam turned back and grabbed her arm, making her run with him and the group.
"It seemed likt it was coming from here, right?" Haley asked.
"Everybody back to camp!" Eden yelled while out of breath. "Our packs!" Haley exclaimed in defeat.
"So much for my GPS and Satellite phone," Roy commented. All Eden wanted to do was rest.
🌲🗡
Eden woke up, her head laying on Mel's shoulder, a fire burning with everyone around it. She blinked a bit, trying to wake up.
"What happened?" She asked, turning to look at the three next to her.
"It's a Wendigo." Sam stated, looking over at the girl.
Eden nodded and stayed silent as the two boys walked away from Mel and her.
"Are you and Dean dating?" Haley asked causing the two girls to turn towards her. "Huh?" Eden with widened eyes "Why would you think that?" she asked.
Haley shrugged "How you interact with each other," She stated casually.
Eden's face flushed as she cleared her throat before replying "No, we're not dating."
