Come Along With Me

Not so bad

Eden POV:
"I don't know what it is but I do know" Eden huffs in frustration over the phone to Melody.
"I mean, I was 10 years old I didn't exactly know what this thing was, I know what it looks like, I know how strong it is." She continues.
"Okay, we'll be there soon. It's okay." Mel comforts her friend.
As Eden hangs up the phone she sits on the floor with her head in her hands, trying to remember a memory she blocked out a long time ago. Something that almost made her not want to hunt like her family.
Something that shouldn't strike fear in her anymore but still does.
The door handles shakes and makes Eden jump up and fix her messy clothing. The rest of the hunters walk in and recount what they learned when they went out.
Eden didn't notice that her leg was shaking but Dean did.
As everyone was getting ready for bed, Eden decided to sit outside for a while, fearing she'd have another nightmare if she went to bed.
As she stared at the night sky she heard the room door open behind her.
"I'm fine, Mel," She says while not bother to check who it was behind her.
"Try again," Dean huffs as he sits right beside her.
He takes in her state, slight bags forming under her eyes, hair messy and going in every direction, and a small cut in her bottom lip from chewing on it. He's never seen Eden so worn out.
"You're nervous." He states.
"I'm always nervous," She says back in a monotone voice before breaking her demeanor. "How can you tell?"
"You look like shit," Dean says mockingly causing Eden to glare at him.
"You're legs were shaking the whole time inside." He tells her.
"I might be a little scared" Eden replies in a small voice.
She hated admitting she was scared. She hates admitting she's scared to Him "Let's just be careful." She ends the conversation.
The two sat in silence, looking at their surroundings for a while.
Eden was grateful for the company. It surprised her that Dean stayed with her, not letting her be alone, maybe it was because he's an older brother, he's had to do this plenty of times with Sam or maybe he was just curious, wanting to find out what she's so scared of.
Maybe he's not so bad she thinks as she glances at the man next to her.
Eden studies his face for a while, hoping he doesn't notice her glances but Dean did notice and tried his best not to let a small smile slip past his lips.
Before he can think of anything to say, Eden gets up from her spot and walks back to the room, leaving without saying a word.
Taking a look at the spot she once occupied, Dean smirks and follows the girl back into their room.
