Author's Note: This chapter takes place before Rise of Lotor, but after The Black Star. And the next chapter will take place after Rise of Lotor; continuing the story.

"Hello there, I am Princess Allura of Altea, the daughter of King Alfor and one of the leaders of the Voltron Coalition. And I welcome you to my first vlog. Stevonnie, Amethyst, Keith, and Peridot had fun, and seemed relaxed, making theirs; so, I figured I would give it a try too.
I think the first thing usually done during one these is to talk a little bit about myself; you already know I'm a Princess and who my father is. I think one thing worth mentioning is, while I don't look it, I am over 10,000 years old, but most of that time was spent cryogenically frozen. He-he... But at least I wasn't alone on that journey.
My cousin, Prince Lance, and my royal advisor, Coran were frozen along with me; they would look after me and help me through the strange yet familiar world I would find myself in when I awoke. And I guess some things never change after ten millennia or so. Coran is still the eccentrically loveable, and reliable, goofball that helped raised my cousin and I. And when he first woke up, Lance was still the self-proclaimed "ladies' man" now as he was back then; but I will admit that he has matured a lot since then. Like with his relationship with Katie; even though they've just started dating, he has taken the role of being her suitor seriously.
I believe this would be an excellent time to mention the other family I've grown to know following my awakening; the Paladins of Voltron, themselves. There is Voltron's second-in-command, or right hand, as I should say, Keith. I will admit I was skeptical of... no, in all honesty, hated Keith the first time I met him. I let my anger over the Galra blind me from a brave young man who was nothing like the Galra who served Zarkon, and I am glad to have given him that chance. He has fought against Zarkon's forces since he was a child, and at times, it shows. But despite rough exterior, he has a softer side that's slowly been coming out. I think he needs us as much as we need him. And not as just soldiers.
Then there are the young ones of the group: Steven, Connie, and Katie; whom, I mentioned earlier. They are currently back on Earth; but they've stopped by occasionally to help, before returning to their home. After everything, I can understand why. They may be the youngest of the Paladins, but they've accomplished so much; sometimes I forget that they are still children. But they wouldn't be here because of me; I singlehandedly drafted them into a war that they didn't even know about at the time. They have families, loved ones, and their whole lives ahead of them, and if anything were to happen... it would be on me.
There's also the Crystal Gems. I'll admit, they were... odd, when I first met them. But they are some of the kindest, most caring people I've met. Two of them are Paladins after all, well Peridot's technically Katie's co-pilot, but I think you get the point.
There is also Katie's brother, Matthew; he's been a great support in our endeavor. Along with the Crystal Gem, Bismuth, who we weren't entirely sure was our friend at first. But they've helped keep the castle functioning and prepared for the next battle to come.
Then there... was Takashi Shirogane, the Paladin of the Black Lion. He was the very definition of a leader. Strong, brave, compassionate, and willing to do the right thing; no matter how dangerous it may be. He had led the Voltron Force through our fiercest battles, and to our victory against Zarkon, where he... None of us know what happened to him; we're still holding out hope that we'll find him, but it's been three phoebs... with still no signs...
Being honest, I've made many decisions I've come to regret; decisions that resulted in the loss of loved ones, and that I'll have to live with. But I'm not as worried for them as I once was. They have all proven themselves far more capable than I would've believed. And if Shiro is out there somewhere, we'll bring him home... I can see why the others do this; it was quite therapeutic."
