I could barely move. I wanted to leave. But I wanted to stay.

"Apparently before Alice came here she lived in Missouri. And boy she was a handful. She apparently used to go around having sex, drinking, and did drugs. But once she almost died she and her parents moved here. Now can you really like a girl who did all that?" She said. "Next time maybe you shouldn't talk back to me." She added. Looking at me. Everyone then looked at me. I broke down into tears and ran away slamming the door.

"WHAT'S THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" I heard Jordan yell. I could barely hear him from my sobing. My heals were slowing m down to a stopped for a quick second, took them off, and threw them behind me. I heard Jordan's heavy foot steps running after me and him calling my name. I've never ran this fast in my life. We left and came here to forget about all of that. How did she even figure it out? I picked up my pace when I heard Jordan's voice getting louder. "ALICE! WAIT!" He yelled after me. My legs gave out. I fell on my knees on the solid concrete sidewalk. Sobbing. He came up behind me and hugged me tight.

"Why did you follow me?" I asked. "Why don't you just go back? I know you don't even want to really be by me. Nor be seen with me." I cried. He held me close. From behind.

"No. I'm not going back there until you know that I love you no matter what. I want to be by you. I don't give a fuck about your past. Cause I know you're not like that now." He said.

"How can I ever show my face again? We moved to forget about all of that." I responded. He moved in frount of me. He pulled me into his arms. I buried my face in his shirt.

"Sh... shhh. Everything's gonna be alright. As long as I'm here, you're safe. Nobody's gonna hurt you." He said. I cried into his shirt. His shirt beginning to be soaked in salty tears. "You can cry all you want. You can scream all you want. I'm hear. And I'll listen."

"I don't wanna be here anymore. I wanna go home." I said.

"We're now just around the block, we actually ran a few blocks. Do you want me to carry you home?" He asked.

"N-no. I can walk." I stuttered getting up. He held my hand. The only noise was the crickets. It was cold. He saw me shivering so he took off his jacket and made me put it on. It was giant on me. We got to my house. "You can go if you want now." I said.

"I refuse to allow you to go in alone and have to explain. And I'll get arrested if I got back to the party." He said. I would of laughed at the last part but I couldn't.

"My key is in my bag." I said. I knocked on the door. My mom opened up. She looked at me for one second and hugged me. I cried.

"What's wrong?" She asked. I walked in. Jordan stayed back. She looked up. "You come in too." She told Jordan. We all sat in the living room. Jordan sitting on one couch and my mom and I on the other one. I was still sobbing. I couldn't get any words out. Everything was blurring from the tears. She looked up at Jordan. "Can you please tell me what happened?" She asked him.

"A girl named Angelica came up to us and started bad mouthing us so Alice told her something and she got offended by it. Later on she announced to the whole party all about Alice's past. Alice ran out crying and started to run. She threw her heals because they were slowing her down. I chased after her for blocks. And only a block away form here she broke down and fell to her knees. I caught up to her and tried to calm her down and told her that everything's gonna be alright as long as I'm here. I then walked her home." Jordan said. My mom gasped.

"I can't say thank you enough. You're an angel." My mom teared up.

"I don't need a thank you for something I'd do anytime for her." Jordan said. "Well, I guess I should probably go now that I know that she's safe at home. It's getting late and you probably don't want me here this late." Jordan said starting to get up.

"No dear. It's late and cold out. It's dangerous to be ot there alone. You can stay here tonight. I don't want you to be walking a long distance after dark. It's the least I could do. For helping my babygirl." My mom insisted.
