The true events of Mayhem and Burzum in the 1990s

17 year old heavy metal nerd and English whiz Marlene Fjörsberg had never thought that her near future would be much different from the university life that her family had already planned out for her but a poster would very quickly change all of that. A wrinkled, stained poster seeking a rhythm guitarist in a band called Hell's Gate made up of four of the biggest so called Satanists and losers in her school. The band's crushing brand of thrash metal soon becomes the talk of the underground music community but when publicity stunts start going too far and rivalries get out of hand, Marlene begins to question whether this is the life that she really wanted for herself after all....

The young psychiatrist Julie Lohmann, a brilliant doctor with emotional disorders responsible for the sadistic serial killer Reinhard Wagner, author of 8 sanguinary crimes closely related to occultism. Wagner, apparently shocked, denies firmly all the accusations and the total lack of evidences on the first 7 murders starts to torment Julie .
