*Georgie's POV*
Supercars Bathurst day 2010. The day I met Jayden.

It was a sunny October day and dad had the whole back deck fitted out with the finest motor racing flags and tributes.

Dad said the new neighbours had moved in next door. "Georgie there's a boy your age I believe" he explained to me while putting up the last of his banners.

The day had started and all dads mates had come over to watch the great race. I was into it too.

"Hey mate" dad shouted from the other side of the room, I turn around to see this boy and his family.

Jayden was wearing a green jumper and black shorts. His chocolate brown hair flicked to one side with the bluest eyes you have ever seen.

Dad went up and shook David's (his dad) hand and called me up to meet them.

"This is Jayden and my other son Lance" David introduced them to me.

I was 10 I didn't know was love really felt like at this point, well I didn't really know what love was to be honest.

I remember having a funny feeling in my stomach like everyone does when they see someone they are attracted to.

"Nice to meet you" I said happily with a giant smile on my face.

I looked at Jayden, his gorgeous eyes looking at me I was too scared to look at him.

I invite him to play some Xbox with my brother and his friend. I sit and play with Jayden not really thinking of getting to know him as kids just hung out and didn't think about anything else.

Later on in the day, after the race had concluded Jayden, my brother and my other family friend went out to play basketball

I followed them outside, played for a bit but decided to watch Jayden.

I stared at him in awe as he was very good at basketball.

I sat on the stairs and thought to myself "this guy he's my age, handsome, good at basketball" I listed thinking of everything I liked about him

"Maybe he could be my boyfriend" I came to a conclusion.

And here's where it starts my long term crush to a boy who I didn't know even liked me back.

*Jayden's POV*
Later that day we went home back to our house.

Georgie had mentioned to me earlier that her old neighbours, herself and her brother used to sit on the fence and talk over to each other

So we decided to do it ourselves. We sat there and talked for hours until it was time to go back inside.

By the time it was the end of the week we were talking non stop. We would message each other to come out and talk over them fence

We were really close for about two years and our families seemed to catch up all the time.

3 years later things started to change.
