Jayden's party continued...
I look in the mirror as I touch up my eyeliner, lashes, and eyeshadow. I know it is stupid but at 16 I wanted to be popular like any other girl in high school. I wanted the friends and the super-hot boyfriend to match.
I always had to look my best whenever I went out and that was very rare since I didn't have many friends. I fluffed up my hair and took one last look in the mirror before walking to the front door.
I walk around the corner to see Sarah standing at the front door of Jayden's house. butterflies started to form in my stomach as I walked through his house to the backyard.
"Oh Georgie hi, I didn't know you were invited," a lovely voice said from behind me, it was Jayden's mum Sally.
"Hi Sally, yeah it was kind of last-minute" I replied with a smile.
I walk out the back following Sarah as about 20 pairs of eyes turn around to look at me. All of his friends were there starring at me as I walked down the stairs.
I automatically turn to Jayden as he is locking lips with a gorgeous girl on his lap. That must be Ivy his recent girlfriend. "Hi Georgie, welcome" he greets me with a forced smile.
He turns around and places another kiss on Ivy's lips "happy birthday" I murmured as he walked away.
Suddenly a wave of sadness and frustration came over me, I wasn't wanted. my heart fell to the bottom of my stomach.
*a few hours later*
I went and sat over on the swing set at the back of their yard, I always try to sit on my own in the hopes that Jayden will come and talk to me. My theory never works.
I just sit there and watch as Jayden continues to make out with Ivy. It makes me sad and it hurts like hell but I guess ill just have to face the fact that he will never love me and that's that.
All of a sudden Sarah comes over and sits next to me "you like Jayden right" she looks up at me, I look at her too and sigh "Is it honestly that obvious"
She chuckles a little before replying "you have been staring at them making out for the last 5 minutes Georgie"
"Oh have I, oops" I blush and look down at the ground in embarrassment.
I sigh and thought to myself
Is this night going to get any better?
