I want to talk about a symbol of the occult and why it is so. The "owl" in the Bible in different passages talks about people and countries that have turned their back to GOD (to do evil) and GOD says HE will make these places so barren that only the owl comes to dwell in its wastelands--"a court for owls" the Bible says. That is why the owl is used symbolically to represent wisdom--but not wisdom of GOD but of the world. When you go into a bookstore or library the owl is often used symbolically. These places are full of books with the wisdom and teachings of men but there is really only one school of thought that matters at the end of it all--and that is GOD's. You will begin to notice the owl showing up symbolically everywhere now--it is a symbol of the satanic which is to be "worldly" and ever-seeking but never coming to the knowledge of the truth.
Let me tell you a little story that relates to this message. I had to go to a church camp for a denomination that I knew had long been lukewarm toward GOD. When I arrived at the front gate of this Florida camp, there was a large owl sitting on the main gate as if guarding the entrance. I took note. Again I knew the totally lukewarm condition of this campground. Then on the last day of my stay, we were in the car again leaving the park and a large owl with its talons came right at our windshield as we were pulling away. I realized that the place had become a court yard of owls, in more way than one....
Isaiah 34:10-13 (KJV): It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. 11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness. 12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing. 13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
Isaiah 13:19-21 (KJV): And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. 20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. 21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
Jeremiah 50:39-40 (KJV): Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation. 40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.JK Rowling Author of Harry Potter uses "owls" in her Antichrist writings for children: https://www.pottermore.com/writing-by-jk-rowling/owls
