CURSED OBJECTS SERIES: TATTOOS (AND PIERCINGS)

What do Tattoos, Cutters, and the Occult Have in Common?

Tattoos used to be things that sailors would get in tropical ports down dark alley ways when they were on ship leave in shady tattoo parlors.

Why were they formerly considered so "shady?" Because they are ANTI-GOD clear and simple--and now they have become mainstream and glamorized by Hollywood and they are preparing this generation for the Antichrist "mindset" of taking a mark on your body--the ultimate goal of Satan.

But just because something is now commonplace does not mean it is right with GOD contrary to popular belief. Does anyone recall the scripture: "The road is narrow and few find it?"

So just how do I know the LORD is displeased with this overwhelming cultural shift to marking the body? We need to go to Leviticus 19:28 (KJV): Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. To fully understand this entire passage about marking the body--you have to understand the other part of this scripture which talks about cutting yourself or self-mutilation (this is why you will see piercings and tattoos in the same location—they go hand-in-hand).

In Leviticus, self-mutilation talks about cuttings in your flesh for the dead which relates back to an era where people were cutting themselves in the scripture that says they were worshipping Baal and cutting themselves for the dead: 1 Kings 18:24-29. and this is what happened: 1 Kings 18:28 (KJV): And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.

Then jump to: Mark 5:2-5 (KJV): And when HE (CHRIST) was come out of the ship, immediately there met HIM out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: 4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and CUTTING himself with stones.

So what is the ENTIRE scripture about in Leviticus? It's cutting and marking the flesh and to not do it to the temple which is the body--which when you are a Christian in line with the Will of the FATHER and not the devil, you are not your own: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV): 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the HOLY GHOST which is in you, which ye have of GOD, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify GOD in your body, and in your spirit, which are GOD's.

When a Christian is the LORD's with a full surrender, then he should not be taken over so that his flesh is marked or cut on.

And this is why so many are turning to tattoos (and piercings): it is an act of defiance and the enemy enjoys using GOD's people to bring low humanity. Just as CHRIST rescued the man with the unclean spirits who was cutting himself so does he need to rescue those who need to be freed of the need to self-mutilate and to defy GOD.

Christians: GOD is NOT into "tattooing" any more than HE is "into" cutting. GOD is not now promoting tattooing as something that is good, allowable, acceptable or "of GOD"...anymore than HE has changed HIS position about cutting. If tattooing is not "of GOD" then it has to be of something else and you know what I mean. GOD wants to deliver people of their need to be like the world just like CHRIST delivered the demonized man in Mark 5 who was cutting himself.

If you LOVE the LORD with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength you are not going to be chasing after things that used to be done down a dark alley way in previous generations because they are not of GOD.

Now here is a final comment: if you have tattoo(s) and piercings then repent like you would for anything you know was wrong that you did in a fallen state. Surrender your ALL to CHRIST and go and sin no more.
