The devil knows what he is doing--he is repackaging ancient evil and passing it off to an unsuspecting generation.  Wind chimes have their roots in the occult used to ward off evil spirits. 

What's wrong with that you might say? 

Well, plenty...it's a form of engaging with the supernatural outside of GOD, but through Oriental occult and Buddhism. 

Well you might say so what do my wind chimes have to do with that?  Well you have to ask yourself, as a Christian do you want objects around your home that were used for the practice of witchcraft historically? 

This is a form of ancient oriental mysticism, and its all witchcraft to GOD....you decide....

Archeological finds date back almost 5000 years. In South East Asia remains of wind chimes made from bone, wood, bamboo and shells were found about 3000 BC. Chimes were thought to ward off evil spirits

In 1100 BC, the Chinese developed the art of bell sounding and metal bells were hung from eaves in temples and pagodas to ward off evil spirits. Buddhists liked to hang hundreds or even thousands of wind chimes or bells on temples, shrines and pagodas. In the 1800's wind chimes spread from China to Japan and then the western world.
