The boy sat in his cabin. He felt lonely, but he didn't want the others to be afraid, so the hero stayed in his room, waiting for something to happen. There was a knock on the door. Why would someone want to see him? Slowly he stood up and opened the old door. "What do you want? Tell me that I'm frightening? Scream at me? Call me a monster? Accuse me of starting two wars?" The blue eyed boy in front of him looked sad. "I would never do that. You still have friends and we are worried about you. Please come out. We need you. I need you." They need me? Why? To win another war? But they are my friends. They care about me. "What about the others? T-they will throw things at me again. Call me names. They will be scared again. Scared of me." Anger flashed in the other boy's eyes. "Ignore them. They are assholes. You are a hero. You saved them, and if they don't see that, they are stupid idiots." I smiled slightly at him.
"Fine. But only if you have blue cookies." "Sure. Race me to the beach?", he asked.
"You are going down, Grace."
"Don't get sassy, Perseus Jackson."
He grinned and sprinted toward the beach where his friends were, waiting for him.Alpha POV:
The warriors (minus Thalia, who was with the hunters again) gathered in the portal room. It was a big, circular area, the walls lined with doors. Each one had a different colour and size. They lead to the centre of power on each planet. The Temple of Silence on Stern, the Palace of Fallen stars on Nres and Olympus on earth. The door leading to earth was blue with green and black dots. It was the size of a normal front door. I didn't know what to think. I was happy to go back home, but I was also worried. Did they forgive me? Do they hate me? And Omega. He may not trust me, but I will protect him. He kept the girls I saw as my sisters safe, he showed me what was right, and he saved the world two times. He suffered so much. I wouldn't let anything happen to him. "Warriors," said Chaos, raising his voice. "You are allowed to tell anyone you want your identity, but don't make it official. Whoever knows who you really are has to promise, not to tell anyone what they know. I will contact you again when you arrived. Prepare for going through the portal. I want to speak to Omega for a minute." He winked at me, and I knew he wanted me to eavesdrop. I frowned. What was so important that I had to know it, and why couldn't he just tell me, too? I concentrated on what Chaos said. "Omega. I have news." "News?" Omega looked confused. "I know why you were betrayed. Why everybody avoided you and chased you away." He took a deep breath. "What do you know about Deimos and Phobos?"
"The gods of fear?"
"Exactly. They sided with Ta- our enemy." He waited for Omega to understand the meaning of his words. "Wait! Are you saying they made everyone fear me?"
"Yes. The enemy wanted you out of camp, so the campers hadn't had a leader, and they wanted you out of the war."
Omega looked sick. "He tortured me, he let me go through hell, and now he took away my family?! My Wise girl?!" His hands shook. Tortured? I knew that Omega went through Tartarus, but he never told us anything about torture. I had the suspicion that he told it Jason, Thalia and Nico. I sighed. Why did this happen to him? He was always the one who had to lead the wars, who was the hero. Chaos continued. "Yes, Deimos and Phobos made the others fear you, but the gods were able to brake the curse a week after you left. Zeus 'forgot' to tell me this, after he discovered that you were part of my army. Before you ask, I don't know what the campers are thinking about you now, but if I had to guess, I would say they feel guilty about making you leave." Omega looked shocked. "T-they feel guilty?" He sighed in relieve. "But why didn't Jason, Nico, Thalia, Piper and all those people who weren't in camp betray me?"
"The curse only worked on people in Camp half-blood, so those in Camp Jupiter still stood behind you. The children of the Big Three are powerful. That was the reason the demigods were afraid of you. They were scared of your powers, but your cousins are powerful, too. That is why they weren't afraid you could hurt them. Thalia and Jason are Children of the king of the gods. Their power is immens. And Nico. He can raise the dead, and he survived the pit. As for Piper, I think that her mother had something to do with that. She made a bond between her and Jason, so when Jason wasn't afraid of you-"
"Piper wasn't afraid if me either", finished Omega the sentence. Chaos smiled. "Exactly." Suddenly his smile faltered and he was serious again. "Omega, I know about the dreams." Dreams? What dreams? Omega looked agitated. "I don't know what you mean." A lie. I could tell. "Percy, don't lie to me." He flinched at his real name. Omega closed his eyes. "I'm scared Chaos." Percys voice wavered. Chaos sighted. "I know. I know he hurts you and he hates you, another thing you have in common with Universe," he muttered the last part under his breath. "But you have to sleep. Do you think I don't notice the bags under your eyes? Omega, you are tormenting yourself."
"No I'm not. He is! I woke up, and was bleeding. Water isn't healing me, and we are at war!" Water isn't healing him? Blood? What the heck is happening? Chaos locked eyes with me. He wanted me to look after him. That is the reason I had to eavesdrop. How I knew that, I had no idea, but he was Chaos, the most powerful being in the universe. He had his ways. I nodded at him, letting him know I understood, and turned to the others. I had heard enough.
A few minutes later, Chaos announced that we whould leave to Olympus now. "Oh, and Alpha, Omega. You'll have to take two of the campers with you on your quest." And with that he pushed us through the portal. How nice.
