"Percy!" Her voice was high pitched, but she didn't care. They were taking her Seaweed brain again. Last time she should have been the one taken, but Percy insulted the guards, so they took him instead, and the look on Percy's face told her, that that was exactly what he wanted. He could barely stand on his own legs and his voice was rapsy from his screams. The blonde girl's eyes waterd as she saw her boyfriend struggle to keep up with the guard. Every time he stumbled or fell, he got electoused through the collar on his neck and she couldn't do anything against it. Her feet were bond to the ground and the chains weren't long enough for her to reach the green eyed boy. He wimphered as the guard pushed him and he had to hold on the wall for support. "Leave him alone!" The fat man just laughed and pushed him again, just to provocate the girl. With one last laugh the man closed the door of the cell, separating the two soulmates.
The boy wanted it all to stop. Why couldn't they just let them leave. He wanted to give up, let them win, the only thing keeping him together was his girlfriend, the gray eyed girl he left in the cell, safe for now. If she wouldn't get hurt, he would be okay with the fear in his bones, the pain he was in. The guard opened a door he knew far too well. He hesitated, but the look on the guards face convinced him that it would hurt more if he tried to fight, so he stepped into the chamber he would be tortured again.
His legs gave away under him as he saw the person standing in the middle of the little room. He tried to crawl away, but the guard kicked his back and he bit his lip, not giving him the satisfaction of hearing him scream. "Take away the collar around his neck." The guard nodded and left the chamber after freeing Percy from his chain. "I have a great idea what we can do today." Tartarus smirked, an evil glint in his eyes. The breath of the boy quickened and he cowered himself in the corner as far away as possible from his torturer, hugging his knees, trying to keep his tears from spilling. "W-what do you w-want to do?" The fear was evident in his voice. Tartarus laughed. "You will see. Now come here, we can't do anything if you sit in the corner like a frightened bird." The boy burried his face in his arms, shaking his head rapidly. "Is our little hero afraid?" The son of Poseidon took a deep breath. "Not of you!" The god of the pit laughed, clearly not believing the lie. "I won't repeat myself, Jackson. Come here like the good pet you are." Anger boiled inside the seventeen year old. He wasn't a pet. "Shut up!", he spat, his eyes like a hurricane, fear and anger making a dangerous mixture. "Fine, then stay where you are and watch what I will do to your precious Annabeth." He took a step in the direction of the door, but the boy stopped him, his courage gone, replaced by cold fear for his girlfriend. "N-no, please. I-I will do anything, just don't her. Please", he begged, trying to stand up. Tartarus smirked. "That is a good pet. I will take you by your word. Everything. Let's make a deal Perseus. I will be more merciful to her if you are a good pet. Stand up when I say so, come to me when I say so and don't talk back to me. Do we have a deal?" He smirked at the scared face of the boy, already knowing his answer. "O-ok. B-but d-don't tell her." Percy looked at the ground. "Please." Tartarus chuckled. "I won't tell her, I promise." He smirked. His promises are worth nothing. "Now show me you take this deal serious. Stand up." He knew the boy wasn't in the condition to stand, but to see him suffer was his greatest goal at the moment. The boy managed to defeat the son of his wife, and now he led a war against her. Tartarus would make him pay. Percy stood on shaking knees, supporting himself on the cold stone wall. "Now come over to me." The hero of Olympus took a shaking step, but his legs couldn't hold his weight, and he fell with a muffled scream. "Try again." He enjoyed this, tormenting him. Percy shook his head. "I-I can't." He sounded afraid, not for himself of course, but when he didn't obey, his wise girl would be in danger again. "Stand. Up." Tartarus emphasised every word, making the boy understand that he didn't have a choice. The teenager sniffled and tried again, sobbing silently. He took another step and this time he didn't fall. "Good. Now faster." The primordial was cruel, he knew that, and he liked it. He doubted the boy would be able to take another step, and sure as hell not go any faster, and he was right. His knees buckled again, and he fell on the ground, a quiet scream escaping his lips. He laid there, not moving, just breathing and crying quietly. Tartarus stepped forward him, and his breath quickened. The ancient being chuckled. The boy was afraid of him. Good. "Are you tired Perseus?" The boy flinched at his real name, but continued like before. Crying and breathing. "I asked you something. Are you tired?" The son of Poseidon nodded hesitantly. "Then sleep. You are useless at the moment." "A-annabeth?" "Don't worry. I won't touch her. I swear it on the river Styx." The boy sighed in relieve and closed his eyes. Tartarus kicked the head of his sleeping prisoner and smirked in delight as he wimphered in fear. It looked like he hunted him even in his dreams. The reason Tartarus commanded him to sleep was that he had to talk to Polybotes about an idea he got, and if it worked, the savoir of Olympus would be shattered beyond repair. He looked at the broken boy infront of him. He would like to torture his girlfriend right now, just to let him feel pain, even if it was mentally, but he swore on the river Styx, and even the pit can't break that promise.Recap:
The arrow hit the target in the bull eye. I smiled. "Very good", said a voice behind me. I smiled. "Thank you Lady Artemis." The goddes squeeze my shoulder and left to train the other hunters. I was about to shoot another arrow as a loud roar echoed through the woods, and it sounded louder than Mrs. O'Leary.
________________________________Thalia POV:
What. Was. That? I notched another arrow and looked around. Hunters were pulling out their wappons and looked at Artemis for commands. She looked at all the huntersses and raised her bow. "Girls, whatever that was is big, so be careful. You will go in groups of four, Thalia will stay with me, scout the area, but don't attack. Shoot and arrow in the air when you need help, or found what that was. Ready? Go!" The hunters left into the woods, while I walked over to my Lady. "Thalia, I have my suspicions. I think that was Lamia. She tries to eat the hunters sometimes, but I killed her 83 years ago. She should still be in Tartarus, but I fear that he helped her rise again." I nodded. "What can we do?" Artemis grinned. A wicked grin that made you fear the goddess, at least if you are on her bad side. "Do you know the history of Lamia?" I thought about it. "Lamia was a lover of my dad, right? She was a queen, and beautiful, but Hera got jealous and killed all her children and transformed her into a gruesome monster, which kills children of others." Artemis nodded her head. "Yes, that's true and her favourite children to eat are the hunters. We have to-" she was interrupted by an arrow exploding in the air. "They found her." The goddess and I ran where the arrow came from, and we were greeted by Zoë and Bianca. "It's Lamia. She killed one of the Hunters, how do we stop her?" I looked at Artemis for support. She was always the one with the plan. "She was the queen of Libya, a very proud kingdom, as was she. She can't deal with humiliation." I smirked. "So we are doing a Percy Jackson? Offending her as much as possible?" Artemis laughed. "Exactly." I grinned and walked up to the monster. "Hey, queeny. I thought you were beautiful, but you look like a rotten apple. Did you ate too much, or why are you so fat?" Zoë laughed and shouted, "Even Gollum his more beautiful than you!" I was rolling on the floor by now. Zoë watched too much 'Lord of the Rings'. Lamia looked confused and angry. "What is a Gollum?" I laughed even harder at this. "Your voice sounds like a frog singing," yelled Bianca, joining the offending contest. The other hunters laughed at Lamia, getting the idea of what we were doing. "S-stop laughing at me! I am Lamia."
"Even your name sounds stupid. Lamia. Schwarmia. Darmia." We laughed again. The monster was breathing heavely now. She retreated and we followed, laughing at her and insulting her. She screamed some very colourful words at us and ran deeper into the woods. Suddenly a silver arrow whistled over my head and impaled itself deep in the skin of the kid eating beast. She screeched and turned to golden dust, leaving the scent of rotten flesh. Artemis stood, bow in her hand, behind us, a smug expression on her face. I grinned. "Good shot Mylady, but try not to hit me, ok?" She laughed. "I wouldn't think of it."______________________________
