He sighed. His sea green eyes red and puffy. He had to leave, not able to be near them anymore. His backpack was ready. "Bye," he whispered. Tears welled up in his eyes again. He was leaving his home. "Going somewhere?" He spun around and sighed. "I have to, Jason. I can't take it anymore."
His cousin nodded. "I know, that is the reason we will come with you." "What! No. This is your home." He shook his head. "Home is where the people are you trust the most. So it's wherever you are." The green eyed boy smiled."Okay. But I don't guarantee you that you get any of my blue cookies." The blond boy laughed. "Wouldn't think of it." That was the day the son of Poseidon left his home, together with the girlfriend of a former praetor of rome, and his cousins, except for a golden eyed girl who stayed behind, afraid of the boy she once called brother.Percy POV:
L.A. I had bad experiences with L.A. Well, not everything was bad, but most of it. "Where do we have to go? We can't just walk to Alaska." Clarisse seemed annoyed, and I couldn't blame her. The gods could have send us somewhere near Alaska at least, but no, they had to flash us to L.A. Why Las Vegas? Annabeth sighed. "We have to go to Calico, a ghost town. We should be able to find a deserted house to sleep in there." Clarisse snorted at her answer. "Our parents gave us money, so let's enjoy this and stay the night in some casino. We are in Las Vegas after all." I looked at Annabeth. "No!", we said at the same time, startling the other two. "Why?" Luke asked, raising an eyebrown. "Bad experence," was all I said. Annabeth chaneged the subject. "Before we leave to Calico, we have to buy drinks and other supplies we could need. I heard that the store over there has everything you need for travel. The store is named 'MeEuSt'. Let's go there first." We nodded and made our way toward the store. It was a tiny building with a wooden door. Annabeth knocked, and a petit girl opened the door. She had blonde hair with turqoise highlights. She wore shorts and sandals and a neon pink short T-shirt. She was beautiful, but she didnt have grey eyes and blonde princess curls, so I couldn't say she was as gorgeous as my Wise girl. Her long hair reached down to her waist, and her eyes were the colour of a sea storm, the same colour as her highlights, just a bit more dark blue. She smiled and said, "Hi. I'm Fenja, welcome to MeEuSt, the store for everything." She stopped. "We even have stone statues", she finished her sentence, giving us a strange look, like she wanted to warn us or something like that. Stone statues. I most likely was just paranoid, but the last time someone selled statues... Annabeth smiled a false smile at the girl, and said, "Thank you. I'm Annabeth, this is Percy, the guy with the scar is Luke, and the other girl is Clarisse. We want to travel to Calico, and we would like to buy supplies." Fenja nodded and lead us in the store. "You have to wait in the backyard while I call the owners of the store." We thanked her and went to the back of the store, which lead to the backyard. Annabeth looked troubled. "I don't like this. Stone statues. She said it as if she wanted us to be suspicious." I nodded. "We just have to wait, maybe this is a normal store."
"Oh, but Perseus, is anything ever normal for you?" I spun around and took Riptide out of my pocket and Rose from my back. Luke clenched his fists at the sight of the sword. "It belongs to Universe," he muttered, and I was sure I wasn't suppose to hear it. What was his connection to the princess? I sighed and handed him the sword. He looked at me wide eyed. "W-what?" I smiled. "I may not trust you, and I may not know the connection between you and Universe, but I know that she means something to you, and you were right. It belongs to her, so take it and give it to her once we have found her." He smiled at me. A warm smile and I knew that my action meant more to him than I could guess. Someone clared their throat. "Hello? I was about to kill you, can you cange your swords later?" My eyes widened. "Stheno?" She grinned. "Perseus Jackson. You didn't eat my Cheese'n weeners last time, so I'm going to give them to you now."
"Umm. Percy? What is happening?" Clarisse sounded tense. "I met Stheno and Euryale on my way to Camp Jupiter. They wanted to sell me poisened Cheese'n weeners. In the end I killed them and snowboarded on the Cheese'n weeners plate down a hill." Luke grinned. "I want to do that, too." I laughed, but as I heared the hissing of snakes, my smile faltered. She couldn't be back yet. "My dear Perseus. You killed all three of us, so now we will kill your friends and bring you to our master." I sighed. "Medusa. How are you back again?" She smirked. "Tartarus is a very good friend of mine, and he said that if I would bring you to him, he would grand me as much mortals to turn to stone as I want and my sisters can sell their food without being killed by demigods like you." I paled. Tartarus was really trying to get me now. At once the three Gorgons attacked. I uncapped my sword and parried a blow from Medusa. She tried to kick my legs, but I jumped and hit her in the face. She stumbled back and hissed in pain. I used her distraction to disarm her, but I forgot about her sisters. Stheno grabbed my arm and twisted it behind my back. I had to drop my sword, but Annabeth was there to stab the monster in the back. She let go of my arm and screeched, but didn't die. I wanted to help Annabeth, so I picked Riptide up again and swirled around as Medusa swung her long blade she had picked up while I was fighting her sister. I had barely time to lift my sword as hers met mine. I stumbled under the pressure, but I managed to kick her stomach, so she lowered her weapon and howled in pain. I kicked the weapon out of her hand and put Riptide at her neck, everything with closed eyes. My senses improved thanks to my time as a warrior. Medusa cackled. "What is so funny? You are going to die in a second." She grinned. "I don't think so. Turn around." Sword still at her neck, I turned my head to see Clarisse out cold in the floor and Luke, who stood, hands in the air next to her. "Luke?" He looked at me and stepped aside. I almost dropped my sword. Stheno and Euryale had their hands around the neck of a girl with blond princess curls. "Let her go!", I roard, anger pulsing through me. Medusa laughed again. I turned to look at her, well, in her direction at least. Slowly, she stood up and smiled her sickly smile. "Now, now Perseus. We will let her go, on one condition." Annabeth struggled against the two monsters, but she was no match for them. I lowered my sword. "What do you want?" She grinned. "I want you to eat one of the Cheese'n weeners." I gulped and Annabeth screamed at me to kill the former lover of my dad. "It will kill him," said Luke, no emotion in his voice. "Oh dear, that is where you are wrong. My master doesn't want him dead. He wants to see him suffer. It will cause him pain and let him sleep for hours." She smirked at me. Sleep. She knew about the nightmares. Tartarus wanted me back for more. I wanted to shake my head. To scream at Medusa to fuck off, but I lowered my head and nodded. "Fine."
"No!" Annabeth had tears in her eyes. "Please Percy, you know what will happen." I smiled at her. "It will be ok Wise girl." Medusa handed me one of the poisened Cheese'n weeners. I took a deep breath and bit into the food. At first nothing happened, but then a searing pain flared up in my head. I screamed and sank to my knees. The pain wouldn't stop. I could hear Annabth scream my name. I tried to say something, but another wave of pain hit me and I bit my lip so hard it began to bleed. I wouldn't scream again, not in front of my wise girl. The edge of my vision turned black, and I could barely see the blur of pink, and the two gorgon sisters who turned into golden dust, and the screech of Medusa as she throw herself at the figure that killed her two sister. A girl in a pink shirt. Than I blacked out.As I opened my eyes, I expected to be in the cell with Tartarus, but that didn't happen. It was dark, just a pale light coming from the middle of where-ever-I-was. As I inspected my surroundings, I realised that I was in a cave, and the light I saw earlier were two chains hanging from the ceiling of a silver cage. In this chains hung a girl, no older than fifteen, with long black hair. She had purple highlights, just like Fenja. An aura of power surrounded her, even in her bloodied state. I walked toward her slowly, and stopped before her cage. "Who are you?" My voice echoing in the cold cave. The girl turned around, feet hanging above the ground and eyes closed. She had the facial expression of a queen. Cold and warm, kind and cruel at the same time. She radiated some kind of pride, but it wasn't arrogant, more like someone who knew his position, and knew he was nothing more and nothing less. I recognised her the moment she opened her eyes. An intensive purple, the same colour as her highlights, another thing she had in common with Fenja. She was Universe. The princess of all galaxies. "I think you know the answer." I nodded. "You are the lost princess."
"So that is what they call me." I nodded again. She eyed me. "You gave my sword away. Why?" I gulped. "It felt right." She sighed. "It's good that Luke is having it now. He has always searched for me, even when everyone else thought I was dead."
"You two knew each other. You were friends." She smiled. "We made everything together. Every mission, every fight. That was the reason he was in danger. I have many enemies, Tartarus only one of them."
"Tartarus?" She grimaced. "Who do you think put me in this chains?" I laughed dryly. "Looks like we have a common enemy." She smiled sadly. "Yeah."
"If you and Luke went on every mission together, why did you go alone?" She sighed. "I knew something was about to happen. I couldn't put him in danger. I would die, just to see him safe. I didn't even say goodbye, because he would have tried to follow me." I frowned. That sounded a lot like Annabeth and me. "You two were a couple." She smiled. "You are smarter than you look, Perseus Jackson. Yeah, we were a thing and that put him in danger. People got jealous."
"I'm sorry." She shook her head. "Don't be, I have to let you go now, Tartarus is working against me and I'm not strong enough to keep him out anymore, just remember that there are things worth fighting for, and tell Luke I'm so sorry when you wake up." I nodded as her image faded away. "I will safe you. I promise." I wasn't sure if she heard me, but someone else did. "How sweet. The two commanders." I tensed and backed away from the angry primordial. "You are late, Jackson." I narrowed me eyes. I wouldn't let him see my fear. Universe was right. There are things worth fighting for. I took a deep breath and braced me for what was to come.__________________________
A/N: Sooo, new chappy. I decided to add another character. This decision was spontaneous, so yeah. How do you like Universe so far? And what is the connection between her and Fenja. It was the first time I wrote fighting scenes, so please don't judge. Comment, vote, etc. Bye😎
