~Ryder's POV~ 4:55 pm~

I walked into my room and began to scold Liam for everything that happened today that he did wrong.

"Who the heck taught you that kissing girls is fine!?" I asked furious.

"Wait... What!?" Liam asked sounding a little angry.

"What?" I asked.

"I'm not a little kid anyone I just know these things and it's not that strange since most the kids in my class are dating!" Liam shouted.

"Yeah and that's okay. Kissing someone you're dating is fine but not random people." I explained trying to keep my composure.

" It was just a kiss on the cheek!" Liam yelled annoyed.

"But still I mean you just met her why'd you do some that?" I asked losing my composure a bit.

"... Is that what this is about..? It's not because I kissed a random person, is it!? But rather that I kissed her... Why do you care, anyway?"

'You wouldn't understand even if I explained... No one would... You get everything you want even if it's mine you've never have to work for anything how could I expect you to understand my struggles.' I thought to myself staying quiet.

"Whatever I don't care... What else are you gonna scold me about?" Liam asked frustrated and sat down on my bed.

"Why were you at the park?" I asked.

"Because my driver was busy and you were supposed to pick me up. I forgot to tell you so I had to walk. My bullies saw me and said I went with them they wouldn't bully me for a week." He explained.

"I see. Sorry for yelling. I'll go now." I said ready to leave.

"Wait... I want to ask you something and you must be completely honest..." He said stopping me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"How long have you known her?" He asked

"None of your business." I replied.

"What!? You said you'd answer!" Liam complained.

"No I asked "what is it" Never did agree to anything." I replied not wanting to tell him I just met her too- wait why do I even care she's nothing special she's just an average human.

"That's not fair!" Liam whined.

"What's going on here?" My step mother asked.

"Nothing." We replied in unison.

"Ryder I heard about what you said to the principal... Liam go play." She stated causing me to freeze with shock.

"Yes mother." Liam said and left.

"Why would you say that!?" She yelled as soon as Liam left.

"Because I don't wanna marry some spoiled brat I don't know!" I yelled back.

"Why? Is there someone else?" She asked.

"No... I simply want to marry someone I actually love." I replied.

"Fine then. Next month the first Saturday I'll host a party and invite all the ladies I think would suit you and if you like one of them more then you'll marry her instead. If you still can't decide there's a fine lady just itching to marry you." She offered.

"..." I stayed quiet.

"And you can invite your friends." She added.

"Fine... Deal." I agreed because I knew I had no choice.
