The Rogues

(The streets of Downtown Toronto, two hours later)

Reese, accompanied by Anthony and his crew, walked down the street, getting introductions out of the way.

"The Rogues, huh?"

"Yep. That's us." Anthony replied. "We been keepin the streets in check. When these dipshits come up, we knock 'em down."

"Tell it, baby!" Amber whooped.

Anthony looked back, smiling at her.

Tricia nudged Reese. "Take some notes, babe."

Reese's cheeks flushed red. "Way to put me on blast, T."

Anthony and Elijah looked at each other, to which Eli chuckled.

"Daaamn!" Eli joked.

"Hey Reese, didn't you say you know that Aussie guy on the Sentinels?" Amber asked. "He's really cute."

Anthony's head whipped back towards his woman, tilted back. "What the hell?"

"Sorry, he's my hall pass." Tricia replied, to which Reese's face turned cherry red.

"Oh shit!" Danny nudged his brother. "She just said she got a HALL PASS! Y'all two are crazy!"

"Speaking of the Sentinels..." Anthony interrupted.

"Yeah, Bill sent us here to try and get you guys to stand down. Well, that or join the Sentinels." Reese replied.

The quartet stopped in their tracks, followed by Reese and Tricia.

"Really?" Anthony questioned.

Reese simply nodded.

"Afraid we ain't doin' either of those, Reese." Anthony replied.

"I figured as much." Reese remarked.

Eli stepped towards Reese. "Whatchu gonna do about it?"

Reese simply chuckled. "I was gonna stick around here for a few days, see what you guys do, and try to convince Bill that you guys are alright."

"Why wouldn't he think we're good?" Eli asked.

"Ask these two." Reese gestured to the Tyler brothers. "Apparently, you guys got into robbery. Does 'Spectres of the Night' ring any bells, fellas?"

Anthony grinned. "Yeah, that was us. You got a problem?"

"Nah. To be honest, I've thought about knocking over a couple banks myself. But with the Vanderbilt Incident last year, as well as working with the Sentinels, it wouldn't work out too well."

Anthony's eyes widened. "Here I thought you were some goody-two-shoes. Guess not."

Reese nodded. "But hey, what I just said still stands. After a couple days, I'm gonna talk to Bill, maybe get you guys off their radar."

Danny's head tilted. "Really?"

"Yeah."

Anthony's eyebrow raised. "A'ight. You guys can stay, see how we do, maybe get in on some action. You down?"

Reese smiled. "It's been a while since I had some punk-ass running for the hills. Fuck it, I'm in. What about you, babe?" He looked at Tricia.

"I'm down for whatever, you know this, baby." Tricia grabbed Reese's head for a kiss.

Danny whistled. "Get some, Reese."

After the kiss, Tricia looked at Danny. "That's not all he's getting."

Reese's eyes widened.

Anthony's eyes widened, and he held his stomach laughing. "Y'all two are freaks."

The group then headed inside a McDonald's for something to eat, and to get out of the frigid air.
