Reese entered the hospital's double doors, rushing to the reception desk.

"A woman was admitted here. Tricia Harwood, where is she?"

After a few minutes, the woman pulled up the records. "Room 305, on the 8th floor."

Reese nodded in thanks, and hurried inside the elevator, hoping to be there for his one and only.

Despite only knowing her for a little over a year, Reese felt that she was...the one for her. Reese had no one before her, a lone soul wandering the world, taking out his anger and frustration on any offenders of the law. But after his fateful meeting with Tricia, he had a change of heart.

Tricia seemed to be in awe of him, his powers more so. Whereas others saw him as a monster, she saw him as another human being having a rough go.

Reese's heart sank at the thought she might not make it. The one person who seemed to understand him, who could see past his tragedy, might be gone.

He then shifted thought to how she was injured in the first place; Bill and Amber, more specifically, Amber's reaction to Bill. Her powers made her dangerous, a threat to everybody.

Reese reached into his jacket pocket, and felt the syringe he had stashed.

He knew Marcus would catch heat for it, but it was a risk worth taking, considering the scope of who had to answer for this.

As the elevator opened, Reeee sprinted down the hall past nurses and patients, peering left after seeing the 300 numbers.

After a minute, Reese found 305, and burst through the door, only to be met with Darian and Li.

He looked down at Tricia, who had a myriad of tubes in her body. He then looked up at the ECG machine, and the pulse was a flat line.

"Mate, I'm sorry." Darian gave Reese a quick hug. "They did everything they could."

Reese's eyes began to swell up with tears, one falling down his cheek.

Li was doing odd gestures, waving his hands above Tricia's body.

"I am blessing her spirit a safe journey. May she find peace." Li nodded, to which Reese nodded in response.

He noticed a significant lack of members present, especially the ones responsible.

"Where are they?" Reese asked, hands trembling.

Darian stood silent.

"Darian...." Reese's tone shifted to aggressiveness, teeth flashing. "Where are they? I ain't gonna ask again."

Darian sighed. "They headed for a warehouse not too far from the airport. Your pal Anthony hid his sheila there, and him an Bill are talking a truce."

Reese nodded, and leaned down, kissing Tricia's forehead.

"Goodbye...my sweet." Reese sniffled, and grabbed her lifeless hand.

He then walked out of the room, and reached into his pocket for the syringe. He pulled it out, the glowing blue liquid pulsating as it did last year during his fight with the Captain; it was the alien beserker drug, a sample he had taken from Marcus's lab.

He janmed the needle into his wrist, the fluid coursing in his veins.

Darian came out of the room behind him, to which Reese threw the syringe down, smashing it.

"Reese, mate, what're you gonna do?"

"I'm gonna get answers. Don't follow me." Reese cracked his knuckles.

Reese sprinted down the hall.

Darian pulled his phone, and activated the audio to text feature.

"Bill, you've got trouble comin, and he's pissed."
