Chapter 9: Hide

It's been two days now since Myoui Mina have asked you for a favor, which is to let her stay in your apartment for the meantime. With those few days you get to know each other more, you found out that she tends to sleep talk and so are you. The two of you could only laugh at that fact.

You even get to witness how well Myoui Mina play video games, firstly she wasn't really confident about it since she saw you playing on your computer and the fact that you're really good at it too but hen she laid her hands on the keyboard and mouse you can't help but gawk at the screen and to her face.

She only laughed at your 'cute' reaction, she says. You even claimed that she's way more better than you in playing but she shook it off and directed it to you instead. You ended that discussion saying, "Then we are both good at it, period." and she couldn't argue with that anymore.

And right now its 4 in the afternoon and you got a call from Suzy saying she wanted you to accompany her in buying 'some necessities' she really needs at the moment. You rolls your eyes at it already knowing what those 'necessary things' are, probably cosmetic products or clothes, etc.

And speaking of Suzy,  you still haven't told her about Mina. Should you really tell her or not?  You always forget to ask Mina about it and now's the time.

The two of you are sitting on the long couch, there's still this comfortable distance between the two of you and you have no problem with it.

She was holding the remote, switching to different channels until the channel MTV showed,  before she could change it to another channel you said with a soft and low voice,
"I used to watch you guys in that channel during year ends like MAMA Awards..."

In your peripheral view you saw her turn her head towards you, you suddenly felt flustered at how she looks at you at the moment.

You cleared your throat to somehow lessen the flush feeling. You daringly looked at her straight in her eyes and you saw her smiling at you, that sweet smile.

You looked away and fiddled with your fingers, you heard her giggle. That's right, she's teasing you.
"Please don't look at me like that.. " you said bashfully.

"Sorry,  you're just too cute. Your expressions are really something." you couldn't believe if it really is Myoui Mina who is telling you that, she seems to be so confident telling you that when she is a shy person herself.

You breathes in then out,  trying to calm your heart. "Shiet di ko toh kayaaa" (Shit, I can't do thiiis) you said, whilst biting your lips.

"What did you say, Y/n?"  you shifted back a little and shook your head. "It's nothing."

"Oh..  Okay."

Before things could even more awkward a knock on your door made the two of you shift your eyes.

You took a glance at Mina who is looking at you too confusingly before you went to the door to open it. You are thinking it could be the pizza delivery guy so you put up your best friendly smile and turns the knob and opens it.

"Hoy,  Y/n-" (Hey, Y/n-) you slammed the door close again and locks it.

"Hoy!  Ano toh Y/n?  Bat mo sinara yung pinto?!" (Hey! What the heck Y/N? Why'd you close the door?!) you swiftly turn around and went to the puzzled Mina.
