[Author's Note: in this story it takes place in the Philippines. The girls had a concert called Twicelight in Manila recently that's why I got this idea. And there are few things here to keep in mind:

Some of the dialogues here will be written in either English and Tagalog but the korean dialogues will only be written in English translations, it'll appear italic. (Author-nim, doesn't know much about hangul that much but I'll try my best.)

For short, this story will use different languages. But the narrations will stay in English texts. Try not to get mixed up.

••••••••••

You sat on the couch with your phone in your hands. The typical thing you do when there's no classes. You're in your parents house for the meantime and once the classes starts you'll move back to your own apartment again.

You're on your second year of college and you study Visual Arts in University of UP Diliman one of the most prestigious school in the Philippines. It's not that because your rich or something but just on the average and besides you even got in because of the scholarship that the school has offered you once they saw how talented you are.

And now, you're having a good time slacking off this summer break. You sat on the couch while your parents are out probably working 24/7, you only have your brother with you.

Unexpectedly as you scrolled through your social media account you saw a very unexpected post. You immediately halted your scrolling and scrolls back up. You reads it and got silent for a moment before you screamed.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!"

You heard footsteps from the kitchen, the sound of slippers hurriedly running towards your way is hearable.

"Hoy! Ano yan? Anong kabaliwan mo na naman yan?" (Hey! What was that? What craziness is it this time again?) it was your older brother, holding a spatula in his right hand, not to mention he's wearing your mother's apron, you thought of laughing at him but that's not the thing now.

You showed him the article right on his face and you gave him time to react first, once he's done reading his expressions fell and retreats back, you heard him mumble which is still loud enough for you to hear.

"Y/n magising ka nga, eh ano naman kung magcoconcert sila dito? Malayo parin satin yun." (Y/N, think about it. So what if they're going to hold a concert here? It's still far from here)

"Edi... " (Then..) he stops on his tracks and looked at you. You have a straight look on your face while he, he looks like he's begging you not to continue your sentence.
"Ayokong marining yan.." (I don't wanna hear it..)

But you finished it nonetheless.
"Pupuntahan ko parin sila." (I'll still come and meet them.) you said it like it's the easiest decision that you've ever made.

He rolled his eyes and sighed rather loudly, he went back to the kitchen.

You looked at the article again and smiled ear to ear, finally your favourite girl group is having a concert at your country. Sadly, you we're born not in the capital but somewhere in the provinces.

"Alam mo naman na wala kang pera para sa mga concert-concert na yan, mapapagalitan ka pa nila mama dahil diyan."  (You do know that you don't have any money for such concert stuffs, you'll even have mom nagging you because of that.) you heard your older brother said all the way from the kitchen.

You frowned at that but still you wanna try.

Later in the afternoon you saw your parents sitting on the living room watching tv, well not actually watching tv but doing their works. It's not always you get to talk to them since your mom is always out of town and your dad is always somewhere. Moments like this are not really frequent.

You went to sit next to your mom and she didn't even notice the uneasiness coming from you, instead she kept on typing on her laptop working on her paperworks which you once heard from her that it's due is right around the corner.

You took a glance at your dad and saw him also busy on his phone, so you started.

"Ma..."  (Mom) you hesitantly spoke.

She didn't reply so you spoke again but you got answered with an annoyed tone from her.
"Ano? Ano na naman ang kailangan mo?" (What? What is it that you need again?)

You bit your inside cheeks in nervousness. Your parents are always like this.

You feel like it just got even harder to say it.
"Ma.. May nakita kasi ako sa Facebook.." (Mom, I saw something in Facebook..) you cut yourself off to see their reaction before continuing.

"Diba kilala mo naman yung Twice? Magcoconcert daw sila dito.. Ma, gusto ko pong pumunta.. " (You know Twice right? They're having a concert here.. Mom, I wanted to come and meet them..) you said the last part rather fast and faint but they did heard it because they reacted.

"Ayan ka nanaman.. Y/n, puro ka nanaman kpop!" (There you go again.. Y/n, always about kpop!) once you heard your mom say that, you defended yourself, you cut her off but in a sorta nice way.

"Alam ko po ma, pero gusto ko po talaga kasi silang makita sa personal eh.. ")(I know mom, but it's just that I really wanted to meet them in person..) you whined at her, hoping that you'll get through her.

"Nako, pagmasdan mo ang sarili mo Y/n ah?! Puro ka nalang kpop, ano ba naman ang naitutulong niyan sayo?! Nahuhumaling ka na sakanila kulang nalang sambahin mo sila!" (Gosh, Y/N look at yourself! You're always about kpop, what good does it give you anyways??! You're getting so obsessed with them, might as well worship them!"

"Ano ba naman yan ma-" (My gosh mom..) you took a deep breath and calm your voice down. "Sige na po ma.. Please.. "
(Come on mom.. Please..)

"Hindi pwede Y/n, tumigil ka. Magfocus ka nalang sa pag-aaral mo pagkatapos paghanap ka ng trabaho hindi yung nabubuhay ka na lang na puro libang ang alam!" (No Y/n, stop it. Just focus and your studies then find yourself a descent job, not to just live with doing nothing but nonsense stuffs!) your mom finally averted her gaze back to her laptop, you couldn't say anything else to that.

"Mga kabataan ngayon puro laro ang nalalaman, kaya di kayo nagmmature eh! Puro nalang mga makamundong bagay ang iniisip." (Kids these days, have nothing else to do but to good around, that's why you guys don't get mature! Always thinking about worldly things.) you just listened on, it's weird but you feel tears slowly filling your eyes, you blinked them away. It's funny to cry over kpop idols, right?

"Di ka nga nila kilala eh.. Ewan ko sayo Y/n ah.." (They don't even know you.. Whatever Y/n..) you heard her last say before going back to work.

You took a glance at your dad who obviously heard it all, He seems to be in a deep thought.

"Ok po ma.. Pa.. Akyat na po ako sa kwarto ko.." (Ok mom.. Dad.. I'll be heading to my room now..) you faintly said before standing up and headed to your room, there you let tears swarm around your eyes. It's weird to cry over such thing, such people, when they don't even know you but you just can't help it.

"Pero gusto ko talaga silang makita.. " (But I really wanted to see them..) you said to no one in particular. Then after that you fell into a deep slumber.
