Chapter Twenty Five: I promised

At the Couffaine House hold,

Lorenzos POV,

As Mike,Blake and Nat got ready to leave I suddenly got this odd feeling.But why?I don't know why.

Lukas POV,

I looked over to Lorenzo he seemed lost in thoughts. I couldn't say anything then but I will once they leave. I just have this odd feeling about everything.

Blake - "Thank you so much for having us!It was a pleasure meeting you,Luka."

Luka - "The pleasure was all mine.Im glad my son has friends like you three. Well four."

Natalia - "So are we!We best get going.

Mike - "Yeah its getting late."

Luka - "You are always welcome."

Lorenzo - "Ill walk them out.Ill be back father."

Luka - "Alright."

Lorenzo walked out with Mike ,Nat and Blake.They said their final goodbyes and made their way home.Lorenzo walked back in and made his way back to his father in the living room.

Lorenzo - "Thank you Dad!"

Luka - "Anything for you son.Im glad you met them.They are incredible people."

Lorenzo - "I am as well.They all have unique personalities.Even Adrianna.You'll meet her soon."

Luka - "Son,I know its been years and your moving forwards.But that girl Adrianna is she-?

Lorenzo - "Dad please just drop it.Its not her.I would have recognised her.SHE would have recognised me.But we didn't."

Luka - "Maybe its for the better.Maybe you should just forget about her."

Lorenzo - "How can you say that!Are you out of your mind!"

Luka - "Its fo-."

Lorenzo - "Don't go around telling me its for the best!If I told you to forget about Marinette could you do it?Could you dad!?"

Luka - "Lorenzo Thats a different story.You can't just compa-."

Lorenzo - "Dad its not.I know you loved her.I know you had a past together.You probably still love her.You can't just forget about someone you love.Someone who was apart of you.How can you let go of someone who has made such an impact on your life.You just can't."

Lukas POV,

I said those same lines years ago.I said those same lines to Marinette.

Flashback

Luka - "Mari when you love someone, when you truly love someone, that person becomes a part of you, they become your life, your everything. They change you and they inspire you in so many different ways that are indescribable.How do you let go of someone who has made such an impact on your life?how do you let go of the one thing that keeps you going,keeps you strong?the truth is.. i don't think you can, i think no matter what happens, whether you are together or not, they are in your heart...Always.
