Chapter Eighteen: After Everything.

1 month later..

Marinette's POV
It has been a month since Luka came back into our lives. I'm glad he did. I really needed him. As for the kids, Adria and Enzo have become best friends in such little time. I couldn't be more glad. I have a feeling that they have a long story ahead of them. The only thing we can do is wait and see. Luka still hasn't told me what he was trying to tell me a month ago. I most definitely do want to know but at the same time I don't want to pressure him into saying anything. Sometimes I wonder, whatever he has to say to me, Is it something good or bad. Is he planning to leave me here again? Or is he ..? So many questions but not enough answers. I guess I have to wait and see.

Luka's POV
This month has been great. Me and Mari have been spending lots of time together. I'm glad we have been. At some moments I feel as if I never left. As for the kids, well they have become best of friends in such little time. I'm glad my son has someone like little Adria along side him. I still haven't told Mari anything. I don't quite think it's time just yet. But the question is will it ever be time? I guess we have to wait and see don't we.

later on the day....

Luka - "Mari, we're here!"

Marinette - "Oh- Uhh. Adrien can you go please. Im helping Adria get dressed."

Adrien - "Of-course, Im coming!"

Enzo - "Dadda , Its Awdrien!"

Adrien - "Yup. Hey buddy!"

Enzo - "Awdrien!"

Little Enzo runs up to Adrien hugging him tightly as Adrien lifts him off the ground.

Luka - "Hey Mate!"

Adrien - "Hey Luk! Mar will be here in a moment she was helping Adri."

Luka - "Ya its okay."

Adria runs down the stairs to greet Luka and Enzo as Marinette follows her.

Adria - "Enzo!Lwuka!"

Luka - "Hello young lady!"

Enzo - "Adria!"

Luka - "Mari you look-."

"Tired. Yeah  I know.This little one doesn't allow me to rest. Does she now? Im thankful I have Adrien or else I would be doomed.",said Marinette as she came down the stairs and sat next to Adrien leaning her head on his shoulder.

Adrien - "Well she is my daughter after all. Right lil' one?"

Adrianna - "Ya daddy!Sorry mommy."

Adrien and Marinette bust into laughter.

Marinette - "Its alright honey. Oh Luka are you ready to go?"

Adrien - "Where to?"

Marinate whispers into Adrien's ear,"We're going to the toy store to get them gifts.Can you watch the kids for us?"

Adrien nods his head in reply.

Adrien - "Guys lets go and make some cookies!"

The kids - "Yay!"

Adrien turns to Mar and Luka and indicates for them to leave.

Marinette mouths, "Save me one!"

Adrien - "Come on get out of here you little child!"

Luka and Marinette burst into laughter.

Marinette - "Bye, I love you guys!"

Adrien - "We love you too."

After awhile..

Marinette and Luka finally return back home. They enter to see Adrien, Adrianna and Lorenzo fast asleep on the couch while watching a Disney movie. Luka watches them leaning by the door way while Marinette sets all the gifts down on the table.As she does that little Adri wakes up and see's.Her eyes just lit up from seeing Marinette back.She then looks down on the table and see's all the toys.She then starts shaking Enzo and Adrien to wake them up.

Adrianna - "Enzo! wake up come on."

Enzo and Adrien gradually start waking up. Both of them start yawning as they slowly sit up from their sleeping positions. Adrien smiles seeing Mar back. Enzo looks down at the table and see's all the toys and looks up at Mar and says,

"For us?"

Marinette - "All for you guys!"

Enzo - "THANK YOU! Come on Adri! lwook at all the toys!"

After they open up all the toys Little Enzo whispers something into Luka's ear. Luka then says, "Come on go ask her!" Enzo replies shyly, "Oh okay!" Enzo walks up to Marinette and asks,

"Adri's Mommy?"

"Yes honey?"

"My-y my mommy is never here can-n i-i call you my mommy number 2?"

Marinate looks up to Adrien and Adri for approval. They both agree. Marinette then looks down at Enzo and gives him a tight hug and says,"Oh of course Enzo!"

Enzo then runs back to Luka and says, "Dadda i have a new mommy now!"

They all laugh.Luka walks up to Marinette and gives her a side hug and whispers,"Thanks Mari, Im glad you took him in."

Marinette whispers back - "Anything for you Luk!"

Marinette's POV

As Luka thanked me i wanted to turn around and hug him and tell him everything will be alright but as i watched Adrien with the kids, something stopped me and instead i said,

"Anything for you Luk! What are friends for!"

I somewhat felt luka stiffen next to me.But I pushed it to the back of my mind. I didn't want to overthink anything. I just wanted to enjoy this moment. I whispered to myself,

"Im so sorry Luk."
