The night is going well as planned.

I am now seated with the rest of  Tara's friends who had become my close circle as well. I had been drinking much more than I planned to drink and the alcohol is starting to kick in.

I was laughing at Michael's joke when a group of men approached us. Whoa! I must have been really drinking a lot for me not to be able to see them walking towards us.

"Hello ladies and gents. Having a good time?" The cute guy asked while smiling. He reminds me of the dancer John Pratts.

"Oh, yes we do, would you like to join?" Sheila asked them.

"If it is okay with you?" The guy asked again as he throw a look at all of us, smiling.

"Yes of course, Christopher by the way" Tara offered his hands.

My eyebrow spiked up in amusement as soon as he used his real name and was gone in an instant as well. I smiled at the guy Tara is targetting and is trying to silently annalyze him. He took Tara's hands and introduced himself as Bryl.

You see, we have this mutual agreement in the group that no one will introduce anyone. They have to personally do it. Why? Because this three gents here, namely Micheal, Christopher and Richard are what millennials call as "versa". In the LGBT lingo that means they can act as Masculine gay or Feminine gay depending on their mood or whatsoever reason I can't fully understand, but I do respect.

And usually, if they introduce themselves as their male self, that means that 1. They feel that the man is either straight male and they don't stand a chance at all aside from being friends or 2. They can feel that the man is gay and is on the more feminine side, which means they are more attracted to the masculine ones.

I can only smile and wonder how seemingly complex this LGBTQ community is and also very simple at the same time.

The men sat down in our table. The one who introduced himself as Leo sat next to Natz and me while the man named Drew sat next to Sheila and Micheal. Guess what? Bryl sat on Tara's right side. Uh huh. Meaning he is seated in the right wing of the couch and have no other seatmate but Tara. This must be my friend's lucky night :)

-------
"Whoooooo ! Happy birthday Natz!!!" We shouted in unison as we all groove on the dancefloor.

The men are amazing, it feels like we have been friends for so long that we have the same vibe going on. I never danced like this in my whole life. I was covered with sweat but I couldn't care less. A few minutes later, I feel that alcohol is taking the better of me and decided to seat for a while. But before I was able to leave the dance floor Tara caught my wrist and pulled me to his side, he placed his hands on my waist and then said "let's all take a picture" and so we did, a waiter took a picture of us. I was in between Tara and Micheal, we have our biggest smile.

"I have to seat for a while, my feet hurt." I whispered to Tara's ears.

"Oh sure love, I'll be there in a few." He said and released me from his hold.

The moment my butt hit the couch I feel like I don't want to stand anymore. Whoa! Dancing is exhausting! I looked for a waiter and asked for a water. I think I already had enough of booze for tonight.

I just finished a glass when Leo came in and sat at least a foot beside me. He looked just like me, tired but having fun.

"Your friends are something" he said chuckling. Then he reached out for my glass and found that it was empty. He pouted.

"Oh I'm sorry, I was thirsty." I said half laughing as well.

"No that's fine, I can totally understand, like totally" he motioned to his soaking shirt and we laughed in unison.

It seems like we are both tired and don't want to go back on the dancefloor. Soon we were discussing about careers and I found out that they own a big company and that they have a sister company back in the U.S.

"Do you ever consider working outside the country?" He suddenly asked, we are now just inches apart since we cannot hear properly through the music and we have to almost shout at each other.

"I wanted to visit Canada, but to work? I'm not sure I am. I actually love teaching and is getting ready for it." I answered leaning close to him.

He nodded then answered " I understand and I think that was very noble of you, but we actually need a secretary for one of my friend in the U.S and I really think you should try." He smiled.

"Really? I'm not really sure Leo. Let me think that through once that my mind is not drowning in tequila then maybe I'll let you know."  We laughed at this and then our friends came back looking like they just finished a marathon with visible sweat all over them.

"That's enough for me" Tara announced still trying to catch his breath.

"I hate to agree, but yes." Bryl said wide smiling.

"Finally" Leo and I said in unison then laughed.

We bid our farewells with our new found friends and promised to see each other again.

Leo got my number and reminded me of the job he was offering.
