Two Weeks Later
It's the first day of your new school and you're terrified. After your parents death, people have probably heard about you. Your aunt and cousins moved into the house and apparently you're paying for it because of all the money your parents left behind.
You put on a hoodie and black leggings because you seriously didn't give a shit about anything. You brush out your hair and put it up into a messy ponytail.
Your eyes are so puffy and tired looking from all the hours you spent crying far into the night.
You wash your face to clean your tear stained cheeks and put on concealer to make you at least a bit presentable.
You grab your phone and lazily walk downstairs.
You skip breakfast and sling your bag full of stuff over your shoulder so you can wait in the car.
You get in the passenger seat and stare into nothingness. You almost hate cars just because of where your parents were murdered.
You feel dead inside. You feel nothing. All your days are spent in nothingness. You simply just feel dead. Numb.
Your aunt gets into the car and begins driving. You're dreading your first day. Your goal is to be invisible. Unnoticed. Not even there.
You tug at your black hoodie strings until they're even while on your drive to school. Your aunt has to go in with you because you're new and need to learn the school.
You pull into a parking lot of a pretty big school. You roll your eyes as you get out and head in. You had to get there 30 minutes early because you need to get your tour of the school.
You make your way to the principal's office and he greats you with a stupid smile and rehearsed "Welcome to our school!!". You nod and give your most convincing smiles.
"Okay, we have two fine students who are going to show you around the school. Their names are Misun and Taehyung." The principal says through his painfully cheerful smile.
"They should be waiting outside the door about now, give me one second," He adds before opening the door.
"Ah, here they are."
The two walk in and Misun has the fakest smile on her face ever and Taehyung has a blank face on. They stare at you and you stare at them.
"Okay you three, have fun with the tour!"
Your aunt waves to you as she leaves you with Misun and Taehyung.
You sigh and go next to them.
The whole time you feel like a third wheel. Misun clings to Taehyung like they're engaged. They haven't actually hugged or anything, but she keeps grabbing his hand. He seems to try to pull away from her.
Misun does all the speaking and Taehyung never opens his mouth. By the end of the tour, you're brought to your home room. Misun stays with you as she has the same homeroom teacher. Taehyung leaves without even saying anything. You wished you could hear his voice. He was hot.
You almost laugh thinking about that. He's obviously not interested in you.
The class starts and of course the teacher just has to introduce you.
"Everyone! Most all of you were here last year so you know the ropes, except one of youuuu!!" She sings the last part.
"Meet our new student!" She motions for you to come up and you keep a straight face. You roll your eyes slightly when she's not looking and you stare at your classmates. You can see them whispering about you.
"So everyone, this is Song (Y/N) and she just moved here from Seoul! (Y/N), what are three fun facts about you?" She asks.
"I, uh... I live ten minutes away from school, I'm thirteen, and my hair color is (Y/H/C)." You flash a quick mocking smile and then go back to your seat.
The room erupts into whispers and laughs as you sit down with a sigh.
The teacher looks utterly confused.
"I- uh, well then, okay. I was expecting better facts but uh let's begin our lesson I guess."
You sit in the back of the classroom near an unused chalk bored. In the corner of it are a bunch of little faces and small idiotic messages.
You sigh and sleep through the whole lesson.
The bells ring, blaring in your ears, which wakes you up immediately. You grab your bag and saunter out of the classroom.
Your next class is just as boring, but at least they don't introduce you. You definitely notice the stares of other people, though.
After that class you have one more class before lunch. You groan as you try to figure out which classroom it is. You put your hand on your head to prevent yourself from being seen almost crying. You're such a crybaby who can't handle her emotions.
"Hey, need any help?" A cheerful voice says.
You jump and turn around to see a smiling man staring at you. He has red hair and bright happy eyes.
"Uh, no, I'm good. Thanks," You mumble the last part.
"Okay, but the classroom you're going to is down three doors."
You say nothing and nod as he walks away. You find your classroom with ease.
You open the door and you see the only available seat is in the very back by a window. It started raining which scares you. You've developed a sort of fear from the rain.
"Hey, can you move?" A voice asks harshly.
You whip your head around and see this man with mint colored hair and sad looking eyes.
"Oh, uh yeah sorry." You say before leaving the classroom. You're going to skip. You can't just sit and watch the rain all class.
You jump every time a large rain droplet hits the roof. You feel tears forming in your eyes just like they formed in the clouds. You need a place. A place where you can hide from the rain. It sounds dumb, but you can't describe how you feel about the weather. You even used to like the rain.
You run down the hallway until you find the gym. There's a stage at the other end of the huge gym that you sprint to. Next to it there's a small closet. You open the door and slam it shut. Enclosing you in the darkness. You break down in tears once again.
It hadn't really hit you that they were gone. The rain almost smacked that realization into you. Suddenly, you hear a knock on the door followed by a deep man's voice saying "go to class". You jump and wonder if that person heard you crying. You wipe away your tears and leave the closet. When you get out, you're surprised to see that the gym is completely empty.
