Lil Time Skip

You sit on the bench with your hands intertwined with Tae's. His warm hand helps keep your cold one from shaking. It's getting really cold out now, but that doesn't stop you from going outside with Tae.

You stare at the trees and leaves falling off of them. The sky is gray with winter clouds and every time you take a step onto the ground, you can hear leaves break and crunch underneath your foot.

You decide to break the silence, something you normally wouldn't have done, but you're going to do it anyways.

"Tae, you're alive."

He chuckles.

"Uh, yeah. I kind of know."

You force a little smile.

"It was a miracle that you lived. They thought they lost you. I thought I lost you."

"Y/N, I'm not going anywhere. Please don't worry about me."

You probably would cry at a time like this, but all potential tears are frozen.

"Please stay with me, Tae."

He whispers, "I promise I will. Just like I said, Y/N. I purple you. I'll love and trust you for a very long time."

You feel your nose sting a little as you're about to cry.

"I purple you too," you reply, your voice breaking a little when you say it.

"Let's go inside."

You hold a warm cup of hot chocolate in your hands as you stare at Tae across the table.

He mocks, "Take a picture, it lasts longer."

You smile a bit before taking a sip of your drink. You sigh as you set it down and look back at Tae.

"I don't deserve you."

He smirks, "I know."

After you finish your hot chocolate, you sit on the couch with Tae and debate whether or not you should go home yet.

As if he read your mind, Tae speaks.

"Hey, Y/N. Do you wanna just stay the night? It's getting a little dark out."

That's a lie. It's not getting dark out. He just wants you to sleep over. Heheheh.

You smile.

"Um, sure, but I have nowhere to sleep."

He smirks.

"There's always my bed."

Did he just—?

You laugh, "We're thirteen!"

"I'm actually fourteen," he shrugs.

"Oh my— no. I'm sleeping on the couch."

"Whateverrrr. You'll change your mind eventually."

"Yeah, and give me one reason why I should?"
