Gratsu (and more) one shots

First Kiss

This is the one shot I made for Hanlovespasta's first kiss one shot contest, for her amazing Gratsu AU fanfiction "Melting Gray" where Gray is BLIND (gasp)

(What happened to the thing you sent me really long ago, I really liked it -w-)

Well, this weird idea came to me, and I was like HEY LET'S DO IT NOTHING TO LOSE RIGHT? And then I won.

What? WHAT? (I'm so happy gah she liked it why am I getting so worked up over this)

I parked my car, and the music that had been coming from the speakers stopped, creating the awkward silence I had been dreading.

I looked to my right, and saw Gray struggling a little to find the door handle. He found it, and opened the door.

Then he turned to me. "Stop staring at me. Aren't you gonna get out as well?"

I sighed and opened my door, stepped outside, and watched Gray as he did the same. We walked to Gray's front door, not saying anything. I opened the door carefully, hoping that no seven year olds (*cough* I'm talking about you Lyon) would come.

We managed to walk to Gray's bedroom without Lyon hearing us, and I found a comfortable spot on his bed.

Gray stood in front of me and I couldn't help but looking at him. I looked at him from head to toe, and then from toe to head.

"Seriously, don't stare at me."

"But I like looking at you."

Gray turned his head, a sad look on his face. "I wish I could say the same."

I felt bad for Gray, so I wanted to make him happier. "Gray come over here, sit next to me." He seemed sceptical at first, but he came and sat down next to me.

"Okay Gray, first, take off your shades."

"Not happening," he responded instantly.

"Please, Gray. I want to see your eyes."

Gray muttered something, but took them off. I found myself getting lost in Gray's eyes, but I hit my leg to get focuse back to my quest.

I gathered all the courage I had ever had and grabbed his hands.

"Okay, so since you can't see me I'm going to try to give you a better picture of me by body contact. Is that okay?"

I really need it right now.

Gray nodded.

I brought the big hands up to my hair. "Start with my hair... You probably know all the ins and outs of it after all that ruffling."

I brought the hands down to my face, letting him stroke my cheeks, letting him feel my far from perfect skin, letting him know about the little bump on my nose.

Gray moved his hands down my neck, onto my shoulders, down my arms. His hands went onto my chest for a little, and then they moved to my back. He pulled me a little closer, into some kind of awkward hug.

I hugged him back, loving the feeling, it was just so right. "Do you know me now?" I whispered.

Gray mumbled something about more but I didn't look that much into it. I found myself staring at Gray's eyes, and his lips.

"Hey Gray... These are my lips," I said, and placed my lips on his. He seemed a little shocked, and confused, but he kissed back after a few seconds.

I never wanted it to end. I wanted this moment to last forever. I wanted Gray's lips to stay on mine, I wanted our faces stay connected. But we can't have everything we want, can we?

When we pulled away, my gaze made its way back to Gray's eyes. They were shining, in a way, like dark blue glowsticks.

"Gray, your eyes are beautiful. They're shining."

Gray turned his head away, but I turned it back. Gray sighed. "I wish I could see your eyes shine."

"They're dark brown, with a few hints of some nasty green colour, and they're far from as beautiful as yours."

Gray still looked a little sad, and Natsu sighed. "Now I won't have any courage to do anything until I'm twenty-five."

Gray smiled at that.
