Trick or Treat?

It was Friday evening. Natsu was sitting at his kitchen table eating dinner as he heard a knock on the door.

He sighed. This was the third time someone had disturbed him during the half hour he had been trying to eat.

He went to the door, betting with himself what they were going to be dressed up as. Maybe ghosts? Witches? Or even pumpkins?

As if he hadn't seen enough of those.

He opened the wooden door and found a guy, probably his age, in a horse mask. The horse was carrying a younger person, maybe seven or eight years old, on his back. The younger was dressed up as a cowboy.

Natsu smiled. One point for creativity.

"Trick or treat!?"

Natsu smiled. "I have some candy for you right here," he said and reached out the bowl filled with wrapped goodies. The younger boy put down his entire hand in the bowl, but the horse told him not to take everything and saving for the other children.

Wow, another point for manners.

Natsu vaguely recognised the voice, but it was hard to hear because of the horse mask, so he just shrugged it off. He didn't know anyone in the neighbourhood anyway.

As Natsu was about to close the door, the horse set down what Natsu now assumed was his little brother or a close relative, since he had told him so strictly not to take too much, and then he took off the mask, revealing Gray's face.

Natsu set down the bowl and hugged Gray tightly, having not seen him since last week because of, well, reasons.

"I missed you too Natsu," Gray said, "but that is definitely not a reason to hug me to death."

Natsu let go and looked into Gray's eyes. "Are you here for your treat? You came a long way."

Gray laughed. "Not necessarily, just wanted to see you. Oh, by the way, this is my little cousin, Romeo. He came up with the costume." Gray put the mask back on.

"I think you look great as horse, but I miss your face." Natsu took off the mask again and went in for Gray's lips, kissing him hard yet sweet.

Natsu could hear Romeo's "ew" but he continued kissing Gray, grabbing his hair.

When they pulled away, they looked into each others' eyes, Romeo looking at the card on the street instead.

"Graaaay. Let's go. You're my horse, I wanna ride you."

"I wanna ride you too babe," Natsu whispered seductively in Gray's ear. Gray blushed and covered his face with the horse mask again.

"Another day, Natsu."
